We had a really lovely stay! The host wasn't able to meet us at our time of arrival but we were left with very clear and easy instructions for the self check-in, so we had no problem whatsoever to get into the premises. The breakfast was served at the before agreed upon time in our room, which was wonderful. The bed was comfortable, the shower was huge and the AC worked perfectly. The location of the room was also perfect: easy to find and convenient to get around from.

Historical building in center of Venice. Painted ceilng. Decorated but comfortable bed. New bathroom and comfortable. Very rich selfservice breakfast. The stuff were helpful and gave us very good advice regarding our visit. We are sure we will be back soon

Really enjoyed arriving and departing from the Hotel Pontoon. The staff made a point of remembering your names and acknowledged you by it as you walked by. The room was lovely and spacious, with a v comfortable bed. V hot in Venice at time of our holiday, and it was an oasis for us.

Exceptional hotel, out of the way of most of the hustle and bustle of Venice. Close to a lot of great restaurants and not far from the train station. Staff were extremely professional and attentive. They upgraded our room unprompted, which we greatly appreciated. Rooms are clean and have everything you need. Lovely breakfast on the terrace, which is also the perfect location for a nightcap.

They arranged a nice private water taxi from the train station to their canal entrance. Very nice experience. Taxi was a bit expensive, but they met us just outside the station and we didn't have to wait more then 3-4 minutes, so very convenient. Also, after seeing the public water taxi (metro), glad to spend the money. Staff were very nice and helpful.
