What’s not to like about an elegant small hotel such as this in the heart of Lucca. On check in we got a great briefing of what to do in town and took the manager’s advice and attended the Puccini and Verde opera in a 1600 era cathedral. A high point. We also walked along the medieval walls of the town. The hotel was great. Breakfast was yummy, with pancakes and eggs and all of the continental goodies. We did book one room for each of us. Two tall people in these small European rooms wears thin on long trips (snoring included). So that made this stay pricey for us.

This was a lovely property. Nice facilities, very close to the town inside the old walls. Easy walking distance to the shops and historical sites. All the concrete staff were great.
