Wish there was fat free yogurt, whole wheat bread and scrambled eggs instead of quiche and high fat breads and sugar-ladened yogurt. I enjoyed the boiled eggs and the fresh fruit but would have enjoyed more healthy choices...

The room, the grounds and the staff. It's nice to see how well cared for the facility is and how well used it is. Love the breakfast room.

Coffee pot in lobby overflowed when used, had to ask for help. They had no plastic silverware when asked to eat a take home desert.

Mostly a continental breakfast was fine, pastries and some fresh fruit. Lovely dining room to relax in, lovely lady greeting us and pouring coffee. There is a shed for storing our e-bikes overnight.

Unfortunately, the walls were thin and you could hear everything outside the room and the people above us. Also, some of the tiles in the bathroom were cracked and need to be replaced.

Wedmore is a beautiful property with the feel of a European manor house. The staff is friendly and welcoming! The breakfast had a nice selection and was well prepared. And the room was very comfortable.

The floors are fairly squeaky. Whoever was staying in the room above us sounded like they were going to come through the floor.

The hotel rooms were beautiful. The antique furniture throughout the halls was stunning. The ground were wonderful and the winery was a short walk away. The breakfast in the morning was perfect!

Property is very well kept and the staff very well trained, helpful and friendly. Driveway and parking lot surfaces are a bit rough but adds something to the atmosphere.

You could hear a lot of noises within the room. Definitely could hear people walking above you. I would recommend asking for a room on the upper level. The room we were in had a large soaking tub and you had to step over the side to get into the shower and then the shower was really only a handheld that started at hip level so it was not the best shower experience. But the water was very hot and the pressure was good so that was nice. The bed was comfortable.

The staff was extremely friendly, and the property had a lot of character. There was nice touches in the room like very nice toilet tree, selection, water, coffee, two bathrobes, which we greatly enjoyed at the end of a long day. The room was well appointed there was a wine tasting included, which we greatly enjoyed, and the whole ambience of the winery was lovely.

The building is aging and needs touch ups... windows need replacing, bathrooms need to be caulked again, probably time to replace some mattresses, some furniture needs to be repaired/replaced. The walls are not very sound proof so expect a little background noise.

A uniquely European country (mostly French) type lodging experience in the Colonial Capital. We love the Chateau like architecture, hard wood floors, and European antiques. The breakfast with fresh croissants is exceptional!

Unfortunately, the fireplaces were not usable as there was maintenance going on. Also I think we got the smallest room although it was lovely.l

It's on the grounds of the Williamsburg vineyards , so when you check in , they give you vouchers for flight tastting at the vineyard. Loved the breakfast with homemade patries, quiche, and croissants, as well as delicious fresh fruit and very good coffee.!

No complaints whatsoever!

Everything!! Warm and hospitable staff, comfortable bed and very nice breakfast service. We got 2 complimentary wine flights in the tasting room. For Valentine’s Day we got a fresh rose in our room. Wine for purchase is available in your room with glasses and wine opener. We spent time in the library sipping and chatting with the other couple , our friends, who were there .

Every time I go, I look forward to having a fire in the fireplace. We came a few days ago, and they said the fireplaces weren't working. It didn't say anything on the website! I wish we had known. I was really looking forward to it. Everything else was perfect.

I love Wedmore Place, and we stay here every time we're in Williamsburg. I've recommended it to family and friends. I love the ambiance, the service, and the facilities.

It was perfect for us.

We had lunch on property and wine tasting then it was early enough and close enough to walk around colonial Williamsburg and come back to the relaxing and quiet room with soaking tub. Beautiful quiet room.
