Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomSome lights didn't work, light flickered in one bathroom and used tablet to request items however nothing happened. Good location but expected more and to be look after more for the money we spent. Cleaners were awesome.
Location and smell of reception - would love to know what that is. Loved the pool. Room was a good size but for the money I expected bigger.

United States of AmericaBooked a room for 3 and everything was set up for 2. Add to request an additional bed while already booked, robe and slippers and towels only for 2. Only 2 chairs in the room when having breakfast at the table… breakfast was nay, nothing exciting about the continental option. Lack personal touch and engagement, everything goes thru iPad request from the room… contact less. The pool truly cold like mentioned by other people and comments. Supposedly at 83… more like 70ish, thermostat must be broken. Detector flashing above the bed non stop
Turkish bath Roof top High ceiling room and spacious Pool (but couldn’t use it being too cold)

United States of AmericaThe amenities weren't worth the price point. I wanted to get a tea at the bar that would be the same tea that was in the room and I was going to be charged $4 for the tea. There wasn't breakfast offered which doesn't compliment the price of the room. The sauna wasn't actually hot. I am confused why the temperature was so low. We had a shower with extremely hard pressure the hose would move on it's own and it hurt your eyes to put your face under the shower.
I appreciate all of the help with baggage and the attention for helping open the door. The front desk did change our room after we were initially put in a room that smelled like smoke. The room we had did have a kitchenette and the space was great for two people.

United KingdomBreakfast was good and tasty, but the service often very slow. They appeared short staffed most mornings.
A good hotel with very friendly staff, clean, modern and well equipped. The location was good and getting to most places in Manhattan was simple on foot.

United States of AmericaI didn't receive my receipt for my stay. Was told it would be emailed to me. Not that big of a deal but with the 500$ hold on my card I wanted to be sure everything was right.
Food was incredible. Got room service for dinner since we got in late. Chicken noodle was 10/10. Morning we had breakfast and I had the salmon ny bagels. Which was incredible as well.

United States of AmericaWe had wanted somewhere with a bar/restaurant for the end of our days but this is more like a pit stop, albeit with solid options, and lacked any kind of a vibe!
The location was excellent for anyone traveling in via Grand Central. The hotel was well appointed and stylish in the lobby with very welcoming and capable staff at check in. Nice spacious and modern room, with the added benefit of a private roof deck! In another twist we realized that the hotel provided guest access to their swimming pool and Turkish baths which was a great feature!

NigeriaI wish the bathroom was bigger in comparison to the size of the room, it was quite small. They also need to be a bit more through when cleaning the bathroom. The spa needs to be remodeled, the hammam room was nice but the massage room is old.
The staff were ever so nice. Size of the room was perfect and the microwave and fridge came in very handy. The location of the hotel was really good too.

United States of AmericaConstruction noise. Very loud and we weren't informed. Didn't know until we were in the hallway outside our room and heard the jackhammering.
Construction work was very noisy and bothersome, however the Hotel Staff helped us change rooms to a nicer room so we put up with loud construction. We were gone most days, but it started at 7 a.m. so .. ya. . Location was good for us, a short drive to times square like just over a mile. A light Breakfast was included but I wasn't told until our last night. Pool is small, but clean. We used it twice, & it was not crowded. Turkish Spa is unique feature very nice I think I would return for another go at that. . Rooftop Bar is also nice though expensive, $23 for a small drink. But the iconic buildings view is very beautiful. I would stay here again.

TaiwanThe hotel is newly renovated therefore some of the last touch facility is at our balcony. However, the view is quite amazing given it's quite cool to have balcony in NYC. The location is right at subway station but there's a soup kitchen near by. However, I don't think it's a major problem since it's still really safe and hey it's right at Park so it's still a fancy area. The butler is helpful too.
We stayed at Marmara hotel for 4 nights. The staff are extremely helpful and I like the fact that's it's not a chain hotel which makes it more cozy and our New York experience more unique. The location is perfect 6 train is literally 1 min away from the door. The room has plates bowls and everything that we need for a family to stay. It's also quite cool to have a pool and sauna in NYC hotel with this location and the price. The staff are helpful and willing to take extra miles in solving our problems. The bar is also good and to be fair the price is quite reasonable too. I'll recommend the hotel.

United States of AmericaIf I have to find a cons., it would the bathroom a little bit small. This mean that there was no space for keeping on the sink or nearby vanity products like deodorant, hair brushes. Just a tiny space for toothpaste and toothbrush.
I loved the fact that in the room we had a great espresso machine for not extra costs, the iron for the clothes and the hairdryer. Very comfortable beds and room very clean.
