Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaHad only 1 hiccup with WiFi and they suggested we log in to the room next door which was being remodeled. Bingo, problem solved.
One of the less expensive places to stay, but right in the heart of things. It's not the Ritz, but if you want to save a couple thousand on a room where you won't spend much time, it's plenty comfortable. Maid service was phenomenal. Always someone at the front desk with a smile and eager to please. Only a 5 minute walk to the beach. Next door to amazing food. Across the street for anything else you might need.

United States of AmericaI did not like that the room was not fully clean. There was an earring by the window which means that it was not properly cleaned. There was also some dust in the bathroom, so, in general, it could have been cleaner.
I liked the location of the hotel, it was very close to many businesses and bus stops. It was very close to the beach which was also very nice. I also liked the location of our room as it was facing the pool.

United States of AmericaThe "damp" air-conditioning and the "small" suite!
The location of the hotel was good for walking in Waikiki. The place was remodeled quite well although some things were still not the greatest. The water was hot and plentiful. The staff was gracious and the room attendants were very good. We choose to not have our room done daily but I think they would have done it if needed. The air conditioning seemed very "damp" but perhaps it was due to the rainy weather. It was a queen suite which was small for a "suite". Everything is extremely expensive in this area and since we booked ahead, it was a good rate for the area.

Germany-I asked for a single fork because I wanted to eat my salad but was told by front desk that I can’t get one because I don’t have a room with kitchenette in it?! -My room wifi stopped working. asked front desk to send someone to fix it but was told she won’t send someone and I should just connect to a different room. -The furniture in the room is definitely old and pretty used. The room definitely needs some new furniture -the room doors in the hallway are pretty dirty too and need some painting
-Amazing location -Big and clean washroom -Room was on poolside so pretty quite at night -Housekeeping was really friendly

CanadaThe rooms at the street side are a bit noisy, so if you are a light sleeper, make sure you ask for the rooms on the pool side.
I chose this hotel mostly because the price was reasonable, but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The location is very central: we walked to many places that we wanted to go. The room and the bed were clean. The girls working at the hotel are very helpful. We borrowed towels and beach chairs which was expensive to rent at the beach.

United States of AmericaOur room faced the street and it was noisy with traffic. Arrival details should be sent with the confirmation and staff should be trained to better explain if people call to ask. We had a hard time finding the hotel. It's just a doorway on a busy street with a small sign. We drove past it twice. When I called to ask how to find it they said it's across the street from Burger King, but failed to say where to park to check in. If you turn right just past the hotel there's a loading zone (if available) where you can park temporarily. Then you park a couple of blocks away at a paid lot after checking in and receiving a parking pass.
The location is terrific - on the main shopping/dining street and a short walk to the beach. Staff were friendly. Room has fridge and microwave.

New ZealandThe room on the first occasion was run down, lamps didn't work and cupboard doors were hanging at odd angles. On the second occasion, we had a nicer room overlooking the hotel pool. In both rooms the refrigerator froze the contents rather than chilling them. We had to throw out fruit that froze overnight, but quickly learned to go out in the morning instead (nuisance, but doable). the walls are thin and we had to complain twice about noise in the room next door. Although the cleaning staff were pleasant and helpful, at no time were our water glasses or mugs cleaned. The bed sheets were never changed even for the second stay of 7 days. Towels were changed if they were left on the floor. We were advised that towels were available for the beach but at no time told there were also beach chairs. We purchased our own chairs and then found out the hotel had some to loan out. we made the best of our stay and fortunately enjoyed our holiday. We accepted the hotel for what it was.
The hotel is conveniently located within easy distance of the beach, shopping and eateries. We stayed twice, once before our island cruise and then for a week after our cruise. The staff made the effort to allow us early entry into our room, but most guest check out as late as possible.

AustraliaNo in-easy-reach power sockets. Quietness: room faced main street, nearby room seemed to have a party Friday night, also Hard Rock Cafe 4 doors down.
Bigger room, much more floor space, bigger bathroom, and three times closer to beach than RAMADA INN where some friends stayed. 15 minutes casual stroll along main road to Waikiki beach. Great service too: I arrived around 9am, was told to come back at 3pm when room ready, seconds later was told to come back in an hour as someone was on their way to service my room now.
