Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaPLEEEEEEAAASE get rid of that lobby furniture. I feel like y’all are using the “antique” look as a way of not having to clean or update that furniture. It’s doesn’t look good. Do better. Y’all have the money.
Great location. Comfortable beds. Cool staff. Smooth check-in. Great signage to let you know what’s going on in the area. Cool common areas. The social aspect is hit and miss, but not bad. GREAT showers. My preferred hostel for a short stay in Brooklyn.

GermanyHonestly, everything was great. Only thing that could have been a bit cleaner were the floors in the bedroom.
Awesome location, very close to Bushwick. My room waa well furnished with a comfortable bed, and a clean bathroom. Easy check-in and out, you can even leave your luggage for free after checking out. There's a big, welcoming living room, a big kitchen and as well as a working space!

United States of AmericaThere was some kind of youth group, with chaperones that took over the lounge. It would have been helpful to know that such a large group would be taking up space in the facility beforehand. I could have planned accordingly.
Another trip for some interviews found me grabbing a spot at NS Moore again. I always appreciate the friendly and professional staff. This time around I made use of the great kitchen facilities.

United States of AmericaThe location is not great, on a more or less sketchy area. There’s not a lot of food options, just vending machines that don’t accept cards. A lot of old furniture and paintings, the place looks like it could really use a renovation.
Staff were nice! The price was good too. Free black coffee available. I liked that the room was spacious.

United States of AmericaThe bathroom floors weren’t cleaned well. The soap smell was really strong and there was still hair on the floor. The cleaning lady was on her phone a lot and not very attentive. I asked for milk for the coffee and she took over 20 minutes to get it.
I loved that there was a communal kitchen and refrigerators where we could store food. The front desk staff was helpful when I asked for a towel.

FranceLockers were too tight to put a backpack in there but I had no problem with my bag outside the lockers (but it depends who are in your room). The kitchen doesn't have a lot of containers as bowls and others.
The hostel was really nice. It is next to the subway. There was a great game room. The staff was nice. The 4 female bedroom was very nice. The neighborhood was ok, I was not afraid to go back to the hostel after 10pm. There was hot water in the shower. The room decoration was lovely.

BrazilThe staff isn't bad, but it could be better and more friendly.
The location is easily accessible, close to the metro and available to park your car around. I felt safe there, and there are also individual safes in the rooms, you just need a padlock.

United States of AmericaSheets and towels could be cleaner. They painted the door the day we arrived which made it have an intense paint smell. Seemed like unusual timing if you were planning to have guests.
Quiet, good location, plenty of space. Easy to get to and from walking and using transportation. Affordable.

United KingdomRoom was a bit dusty in places especially the skirting boards. Depended on who you are you may not feel the safest at night walking to the hostel as the area does seem a bit sketchy. That being said I (male) walked back by myself after having had a few drinks in a couple of the bars and felt fine.
In a great location being only about 12 minutes away from the furthest subway we needed but even closer to others. Also a great location for some good food and bar spots. Staff were super friendly.

Have stayed here dozens of times over the years. It's in a great location and the staff are very friendly. During this last stay I was lucky enough to be assigned one of the rooms that have some full sized beds, which are a huge plus for a 6 foot tall guy like myself.

South KoreaThe bathroom in my room (5 person male dorm - 111) REEKED of smoke. Smelled like someone that's been smoking a pack a day for the last 10+yrs, wearing the same jacket they never wash. I could smell it even while showering - especially while showering. Also, not really the fault of the accommodation, but there was a large soggy sad looking donut in plastic wrap just chilling on the bathroom sink. It was there from the time I checked in to the time I left. It was more funny than anything, but added to the dirty feeling that was the smell.
There's a Kitchen with refrigerators. Several half bathrooms throughout the building (in case the bathroom in your room is in use). Vending machines (one with toiletries also). Coffee and water station with dining area next door. Lots of common areas. Business center. Courtyard. You can purchase umbrellas at the front desk for rainy days.
