The location is a bit isolated, and away from the main road so best to plan to arrive & check in before sundown. St Mary's is about 5 - 10 minutes drive away. The ensuite bathroom had a bathtub but did not have a shower, but there are common showers available upstairs.

The Duck Lake Lodge is has uniquely rustic setting and the facilities are on the basic side. I chose the downstairs family room with a ensuite bathroom, and we appreciated the extra space with a microwave and fridge. It was interesting to see the ducks in the nearby pond about to migrate south. The location of the Lodge is very good for visiting Many Glacier part of Glacier National Park, although it is much more advisable to get reservations in the National Park Lodges if you are able to.

Restaurant had no veggie dinner choices but we made do.

Friendly, helpful staff. Nice lodge. Bathroom down the hall works fine. Lots of hot water in shower. Everything very clean. Cozy room with comfy bed. Breakfast excellent.

Nothing apart from the weather!

Everything was as described and clean. Sharing the bathroom and toilet was not a problem - everyone was considerate. The staff were wonderful - helpful and understanding

The room was a little too warm. We brought our own fan so that helped. There was no shower in the room, but there was a bathtub. There are two community showers upstairs, so we used those at night. The Cafe wasn't open for two days during our stay, so I highly recommend bringing some food with you or stopping in a bigger town on your way in to the area as there aren't many eating choices and the grocery store is pricey.

It was self check-in. We had a private bathroom. There is a porch and deck to sit out on and enjoy the cool evening air. It was close to the Many Glacier entrance at Glacier National Park. We had a mini-fridge and microwave in the room.

Large unique poster bed was a delight, bathroom and shower down the hall was unexpected. Restaurant was closed on Sunday and Monday but morning cinnamon rolls and coffee were excellent. Clean room and quiet facility, convenient to Glacier Park

It is more like a dorm than a hotel. Small rooms with old but comfortable beds. Bath rooms are down the hall and shared by 6 rooms of guests

You can hear others in the lodge sometimes, but earplugs helped solve that.

Rooms were clean & as listed. Staff was very accommodating & great at communicating all through the booking process & stay. We enjoyed the outdoor space & lake-beautiful setting. We will return when in that area again!

Beds were “okay”

Great location for exploring the Many Glacier area! Friendly and helpful staff, great food, overall comfortable stay. Would definitely stay there again when visiting Many Glacier. We stayed four nights.

It is a bit countrified, but we like that.

It is magnificently situated with views of the Glacier Park peaks, a lovely pond, and beautiful rolling prairie. We also got along great with the owner and had lots of stories.
