I’m the wifi and Tv barely worked! Had to ask 4 different staff members to do something about it and even called, But yet no one never showed I was there for 3 nights-

The staff was wonderful 99% of the time but I had a frustrating experience within my last few minutes at the hotel. I'd been experiencing severe lower back pain and towards the end of my stay, couldn't stand upright. Lifting my own bags was next to impossible and as I awaited my taxi to JFK which the front desk had arranged for me, I asked one of the staff members if they knew the taxi waiting outside happened to be mine (I wasn't sure whether to get up from one of the armchairs in the lobby and take my bags outside- a difficult task at the point in time) and she snapped that she "doesn't know either" before checking. The gentleman working the front desk with her was much more empathetic, however, and advised me to press a button next to the door to have it open automatically as I was already struggling with my bags and couldn't multitask. I wasn't at all trying to be dramatic- I endured the most physically painful journey home following that NY trip! It was weeks before I was able to stand properly or even show up at work.

Staying here gave me an excellent introduction to NYC; I had never visited before so I wanted to be in Manhattan. The staff members were kind and friendly. Despite there being a restaurant on site, it didn't appear to be in operation and breakfast was available at a cafe 3 mins around the corner; all you had to do was pick up a $20 USD voucher from the front desk each morning. There's no gym on-site either but the hotel has a partnership with one that's 5 mins away. My room was kept clean and fresh every day and I felt very at home. The terrace and bar on the top floor gave stunning views and a nice place to relax after a long day on your feet.

Housekeeping kept leaving the casement window open. Made the room cold. Even 12 hours of warming could’nt raise temperature beyond 68 due to cooling of room from open window.

We were on the 3rd floor literally right beside an extremely noisy extractor fan from the building next door. We requested to be moved so were moved to the 8th floor but the fan was just as loud there and that was quite annoying. We also travelled with family and requested our rooms be next to each other and this wasn't done for us which was disappointing.

Room telly and shower are great and I really loved the breakfast from the bistro on the corner. Staff are absolutely the most genuine and kindest people. So helpful. Towels replaced each day. Location is excellent. 10min walk from times square and penn station. Right across the road is 28 street station and a McDonald's. 24 hour supermarket and a starbucks.

The free breakfast they offer is misleading. There is no breakfast at the hotel. Every morning you have to ask for a voucher and walk down the block to a coffee shop. Also, no robe and slippers in the room as advertised. Although, after asking twice, they did deliver them.

Sara at Reception was great. She went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. Also, the gentleman from Engineering, who helped fix my TV, was terrific. The new bar/restaurant was also very good.

The next room I was in had a few things that were broken: the black out shades wouldn't come down and the shower only got luke warm which was very unpleasant. If the price was half as much as it was, I wouldn't have minded but for $400/night I expect a lot more than this hotel delivered. If I was in a pinch, I would stay here again but would get in earlier and book directly through the site to better guarantee the room I want.

The service was sometimes slow. Items provided in each room were limited to towels and toiletries, instead we had to ask for items such as laundry bags, etc. and cleaning staff did not carry extra supplies on them. I did not mind having to call to request extra items since it is definitely less wasteful however the staff often forgot to bring the requested items to our rooms and we had to call and request the same items multiple times, taking over an hour to deliver a robe.

They offer a $10 voucher to a local restaurant with limited options the food was not good and expensive so I ended up having to pay over the overage. The food at the actual bar was limited house keeping never came to our room the door to the bathroom broke and no one came do fix it my husband had to fix it so I could get out

The balcony was nice and it was nice that everything was brought to the room
