To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaThe room was very small, not at all like it looked in pictures. Once the sofa bed was open we had to literally climb on top of it to get to the bathroom. You could not walk around it. Should not be a room for 6 people, 4 at the most.

Close aproximity to the airport. After reading previous comments about shuttle wait times decided to take airport train to car rental center ftom where it's 5 min walk to the hotel. Though I don't recommend it at late night :)

The bus left 5 minutes before it was supposed to and never checked on the lobby, so missed second bus and had to take a Uber to make it on time to airport.

Breakfast was good... However NO BANANAS., and I have seen other guest using their bare fingers to pick up toppings for the yogurt. The shuttle to the airport was right on time...

United States of AmericaThe pull out bed was disgusting you can clearly tell it hasn’t been cleaned properly (I have pics), they charged me for parking when I didn’t have a car to park, they charged me for items at their store when I never purchased anything i had to go back 2 days later before my flight to contest the charges which took my time away from my vacation.
