The hotel has become worn and needs updating . For the money it isn’t the best value as it has in the past when the soaps and shampoos were Hermes.. bathroom needs updating and the carpets etc

Bigger pool might be nice, and maybe a coffee shop inside. But really the hotel is super as is.

Location was perfect. The hotel was beautiful and the room was very comfortable. The pool was great too and it was nice to escape the 95 degree weather. We appreciated the breakfast right in our own floor every day. Staff was very friendly and helpful. One of the best hotel stays we've ever had!

We loved this hotel! It had an excellent location. We were able to walk everywhere very easily! It was also not a far drive to Sullivans Island, where we went to each day. I loved seeing the cruise ship from our room. We loved the pool~it was very clean and refreshing. We had drinks at the rooftop bar and enjoyed the great view. The bed was exceptionally comfy, the room was big and beautifully decorated (French decor), the bathroom towels were wonderful, the pillows were great, the room was very clean, the breakfast was very conveniently placed on each floor, and we appreciated the cookies~ they were a yummy treat in the afternoon. The staff was also very friendly. We will stay here again! I thought the price was appropriate.

Location location location it matters! One block from harbor waterfront park tons of great restaurants within 3 blocks Hotel staff was most courteous and happy to help.Fresh coffee and fresh fruit on each guest floor at no extra cost.

The breakfast included was located in the on a table in the hallway which was convenient but only included fruit and pastries coffee and juice. You will need to go out to breakfast if you’re really hungry.

The hotel was in a great location ..walking distance to the market place and just about everything. Once we parked to car in valet it stayed there til we checked out. Beautiful city for tours. Beds were very comfortable and they have complimentary robes to wear. The rooftop pool and bar/restaurant area is fabulous. It’s a bit expensive but worth the view and ambiance.

The receptionists at the restaurant were rude and dismissive for our asking about reservations, resulting in our never dinning there.

- We avoided the designer Bulgari toiletries. They were so powerfully scented that my husband & I purchased our own soap during our stay. - The temperatures were high 90s, so we used the beautiful roof top pool in the afternoon. There were no umbrellas to shade the lounge chairs, only the high top tables. Many guests commented that they would have stayed longer and had drinks/eaten if some shade were provided at the lounge chairs. Bring your coverups and park your sandles immediately beside the pool to avoid burning your feet!

Great location! We loved the friendly service & attention to detail: At check-in we were asked what time we prefered for morning cleaning and turn down (nice touch). Nice size accomodations were beautiful and comfortable (plenty of lighting, drawers, outlets, hooks, towels, robes, towels (refreshed 2x per day), cosmetic mirror, drying cord in shower for swimsuits. Each floor had morning pastries, coffee/tea, OJ, fruit and afternoon fruit, cookies and tea/coffee. The pool on the roof is a super relaxing break with fountain, comfortable seating for lounging and bar/ food service that is top notch.

The desk staff were unable to arrange a taxi for onward transportation. Not everyone feels happy using Uber or Lyft!

Could have had a refrigerator in room.

Breakfast was pastries and hot drinks. Little viraty over the week but consistently fresh. Seemed to be cooked in house.

Rude female bartender downstairs

Everything other than the one bartender. Wonderful practice staff, food and drink was amazing, excellent waiters, fabulous, bedding and towels, great location.

They don’t have a restaurant that offers hot breakfast. They offer coffee with pastries and fruits in each floor lobby area.

The toilet ran and leaked a bit. But it wasn't a huge problem.

The room was incredibly comfortable. The location is excellent. The staff was helpful and friendly and we loved the pool and bar on the roof. We will definitely be back.
