We rented the Clark Cable Movie Theater and had a great family movie night - staff even brought us popcorn and candy! The room was spacious and clean.

Now that I know the layout of the hotel it makes sense that our room wasn't in the historic part but in the annex. It would have been nice to have a breakfast included.

Location fantastical and the hotel was comfortable and clean. We stayed in a suite that had a living room and bedroom which was nice for our party of 3.

A bit grimy in the corners. Very loud with the train so near, though they thoughtfully provided earplugs.

Their facilities are great! We made good use of the game room and the gym. Good space in our suite. Lots of parking. They let us check in early, which was much appreciated.

Heating system in the suite was only in the bedroom. Our son slept in the sofa bed in the living room. It was a cold night. We cranked the heat and kept the bedroom door open so he could get some heat. However, the bedroom got too warm. A portable space heater for the living area would easily solve this issue.

Excellent location in Bellingham. We strolled around town which is what we intended to do during our visit. Stores and shops were all walking-distance. Free parking in their lot was a big plus. Very comfortable and cozy lobby with a piano which our so enjoyed playing. Loved the contrast between the modern and historic elements throughout the hotel. Great kitchenette and ample room in the suite for the three of us. The staff was wonderful. They extended our check-out time the next day so we could grab breakfast in town.

Would have been nice to have restaurant/bar service on site on a Sunday night. Fire alarm test was scheduled for 9:00 am on Monday morning; working with the fire department to conduct the test between check out and check in would be helpful.

Location is excellent for walking to downtown Bellingham sites (including the performing arts center and restaurants). Appreciated free parking and friendly staff. Bed was very comfortable.

Phone in the room; heater in both rooms, A/C in the bedroom in the summer, Also, for elderly guests staying in this area, there is a short staircase that must be climbed - a possible problem.

On either side of the hotel, about a block in either direction, are active train tracks. Trains whistle at crossings and they whistled. I asked for a 'quiet' room but that's what I got with the explanation that no rooms were situated to not hear the trains. Fortunately, I had earplugs but still was awakened at night at least twice. Also, I had a two-room suite with the bedroom off the main room. There was a heater in the main room but no heater in the bedroom. Fortunately, they gave me blankets which I used and wasn't cold at night. The setup means that in the summer, when it is hot out, there is no cooling in the bedroom. The suggestion was to use a space heater and leave the door open between the bedroom and the main room. Not a good solution. For the price, it was not a good trade. However, there have been many famous people in the hotel (Eleanor Roosevelt, Shirley Temple, the crew of several films, etc.) are there are many artifacts of a bygone era. The hotel was built in 1929 with a lot of history visible mostly on the first two floors.

The single thing was very loud music for a couple of hours around 8 PM from another room, maybe the social lounge across the hall?

The staff went above and beyond to make me comfortable, answer questions, and help. And the bed was superbly comfortable.

Our room was spacious but a little sparse and utilitarian feeling. Not the cosiest. The bathroom was super small and no tub.

Loved the location. Nice bar in the hotel. Rooms were comfortable. Windows opened for fresh air which was really nice. Really liked having a kitchen. We also really enjoyed the movie theater room in the basement of the hotel. Parking was easy. But it sounds like in busier seasons parking lot can get full.

The water kettle in my room wouldn't heat so I missed my early morning coffee. There was mold in the grout lines of the shower, especially on the wall near the soap/shampoo dispenser so very visible and offputting while trying to get clean. Made me wonder if there were other areas that weren't as clean as expected.

Location was great, staff very helpful and made great recommendations on local restaurants.

The noise from the trains passing through the night was pretty terrible even though that's not in the hotel's control. We did appreciate the ear plugs that were given to us, though! :)

We had issues with the air conditioner in our room which made loud noises off and on throughout the night. Disruptive to sleep.

The hotel Leo was lovely and lovingly preserved. It was an easy walking distance to many restaurants and sights around Bellingham

Paid for a bay view which we could barely see through all the foliage of the tree blocking the view. Wasn’t worth the extra cost.
