Nothing negative

Everything about our stay was excellent. Starting off with the staff who were extremely friendly and helped facilitate different people in our group checking in at different times. The suite was spacious, clean and comfortable and the location could not have been better. Metro access was very close and a bus stop was right outside the entrance. Would gladly stay again in the future.

The apt we got needed a DEEP clean. Orange slime mold in the shower of the master bath (the top of the bar soap holder). Dust on dressers and every corners of bathrooms. Rusted lights and shower corners. Needed refreshed. No amenities left for us in the master bath. We had to search for all the trash cans. The washer and dryer need to be cleaned. Mold on the rubber liner of the washer. We did not tell the front desk because it should have been clean prior to our arrival and we did not want to be bothered during our stay. Disappointed by the roof top terrace.

The staff was excellent each and every interaction. We loved the space and layout of the apt, the location to everything and the cinema.

Absolutely lovely place to stay. The staff were very welcoming and always happy to help It’s at such a great location for all the sightseeing. Buses go directly from outside the property and even Uber is just 8-10$ to all the museums.. We had a wonderful stay with family. Thanks AKA group

Nothing really, except the lady on reception on the day of checkout was very underwhelming! Most of the other staff we encountered were great especially the gentleman who checked us in.

The position of the property suited us for iconic sight seeing purposes. It is within fairly short walks to some nice restaurants. The accomodation was clean, comfortable and spacious.

The $25 charge for water, etc., is a bit silly considering an already fairly expensive room rate. I will say though that there was never a problem getting additional water, coffee, tea, etc., from the front desk. Bathrooms could tolerate updating but this is a minor issue since they were still quite clean and fully functional.

Four a family of 4, this was perfect. Very spacious with two bedrooms and two bathrooms as well as a spacious living area and full kitchen. Location was excellent right near the White House and close to a Metro station.

I can't think of anything negative. Maybe some people might not like the view but that wasn't important to us.

The location is good. There aren't a lot of restaurants super nearby that are open for dinner and/or on weekends, but there are a lot of lunch spots, and within a 10-20 minute walk are some good to excellent ones for dinner too at all price points. The metro is also very accessible, which makes getting anywhere a breeze.

No room service unless you stay a certain number of days which we did and still nothing! Room with King Size bed did not have a private bathroom. Only the smaller queen room did! Makes no sense. Construction was happening next door and drilling woke us up at 5 AM. If you stay on the back side of the hotel you will also hear trash pickup at 6 am every morning. No trash pickup either. Although I saw maids in the hallway, people’s trash was still in plastic bags in front of their rooms for several days. Hope this review improves their service.

We liked the size of the room but not the lack of cleaning service. Based on our stay we should have had room service on Friday (May13-20) but no one showed up. We did like the bar and movie theater and proximately to the White House. So location was great. My family liked the gym as well. Washer and dryer are nice to have.

Probably a minor thing, but the water faucets were a bit hard to use and may need to be updated.

One of the best hotel experiences we've ever had. The staff was extremely courteous and accommodating, and the room was beyond expectations. We will definitely re-book with AKA on our next trip to DC.

Excellent location walking distance to White House, memorials and convenient to metro lines taking us directly to national mall. Suite was very relaxing after a day visiting museums. Very clean and staff always greeted us with a smile. Felt very safe in the neighborhood.

The Platinum suite was spacious with a comfortable king size bed. Even with a washing machine and a dryer.

The windows in the bedroom had blinds that were just OK. Would have been nice to have black out curtains or shades. Would have been great to have a few cozy blankets or a throw blanket in the living room.

Location was perfect, and only 2-3 blocks from the Metro, the White House/National Mall and many great restaurants. The beds were comfortable and the entire apartment was clean and well appointed. It included a full kitchen that was well stocked with essentials.

I have zero complaints. It has all the amenities of a hotel (helpful front desk, fresh towels, soaps, coffee) with the beauty of a condo (full kitchen, washer/dryer, independent wifi). It’s centrally located to two metro stops, bars, restaurants, and convenience stores. Theres an easy pick up point for ride shares. I will be staying here again on my trip to DC and checking out their other locations when I’m in those cities.
