To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaBreakfast was granola bars and coffee. Not what I thought they meant by breakfast but we were headed to lake so it somehow fit in our plans. No coffee maker, shower curtain or blow dryer in our room. When I asked the front desk, they didnt have a coffee makeer or shower curtain but gave me a blow dryer.
Not a bad stay and the staff was super nice and our room was clean. Parking was good and the location was close to just about everything. Neighborhood was good as far as I know.

United States of AmericaWhen I checked in I was told the 3rd party website I used to book (Booking.com) sold me a room they didn’t have available which was king size, non-smoking but they had a handicap queen size room they could put us in so I accepted well I should have asked if the room was non-smoking because OMG it smelled horrible! The whole building has a weird smell walking in. If you’re looking for a short weekend stay this might due but longer than that I don’t recommend. The room itself was clean except for the smell & the bed was a bit uncomfortable but other than that it was an okay-ish stay.
There was a Pluckers close by.

Did not feel clean and everything was old and out of date and stained to show it. The property needs a Major update...rooms were way outdated as far as appliances, beds, tv etc..

Paint job, horrible, missing baseboards in the room, a black man running around the property with his jeans, pulled all the way down where you could see his penis and butt asking myself and my daughter to call 911 before he ran into the hotel and ask them to call 911 and then the somewhat bloody paper towel or toilet paper that he had around his hand on the floor and when I came back down to ask for a refund that had not been picked up off the floor so it was gross.

United States of AmericaThe stale smell, the dirty conditions of the floors and fixtures, the entrance is in need of a good cleaning. Dirty carpets in the halls, and in the rooms. The room needs a good cleaning. Terrible mattress! This property needs a thorough cleaning and updating.
Other than an Ok location the overall condition of the property was really bad. I can’t think of anything that we did like.

There was no coffee in room breakfast was a small dry cup cake, they were stail. The coffee was very weak. Just brown water.

Very clean, staff was so sweet. My daughter is autistic and the gentleman at the front desk took the time to talk to her and give her a high five before we left. I called before we traveled down and explained we would be in after midnight, the gentleman I talked to was so sweet, even told me to travel safe.
