We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaDisappointed in the pool and hot tub area. It didn’t look look well maintained and there were no pool towels. I was also disappointed in the size of the pool as well. With that big of a hotel the pool should be much larger. I also didn’t realize there were no food options around the area even for late night snacks.
The room was a great size. The bed and sofa were comfy. The tv was big for an hotel and I liked that we had a mini fridge in the room, that was a nice surprise!

CanadaThe line to check in was 30 minutes, only one room was available at the check in time. the other room wasn’t available until an hour and a half afterwards. there were no carts to carry our luggage and the hallways were loud the entire night and morning.
I liked how clean the room was and the lobby. The staff were very polite too.

United States of AmericaWe asked for a new comforter twice because the one we had was either stained or had make up on it. The first time they brought us several clean sheets but no comforter. The second time we were told someone would bring it to our room but we never received it. Plus some guests were a bit loud.
The staff was very friendly. Access was good and the lobby was very clean.

United States of AmericaNot that it's Booking.com fault, but it seems like the hotel was hosting some king of tournament or something for teenagers. The hotel was full of teenagers. They weren't loud or rude or anything; I just wasn't expecting to see teenager every time I left my room. That was the reason why I didn't stay for the whole weekend. My bed was very low to the ground I felt like I was sleeping on the floor. I received a text shortly after my check-in that said "Good evening, Mr. Pointer. It was great to have you with us at DoubleTree Dearborn. How is everything with your room? - Timothy". I texted back, "It's ok. The bed extremely low to the ground." Shortly after that I received a text, "Welcome to t he DoubleTree, Mr. Agnew. Thank you for being a valued Hilton Honors Diamond Member. How is everything with your room? - Timothy" I texted back, "I'm not Mr. Agnew." This back and forth from texting went on even after I checked out. I even texted back "Please STOP" texting me!" twice. It wasn't until I actually called the number and spoke with someone before the texting stopped and none of my concerns were addressed. I was given my "award-winning cookie" at the time of check-out. When I inquired about the cookie, the hostess said I was supposed to get it at check-in. I told the hostess that none of the guest got cookies at time of check-in and there were 2 people who checked in before me. The hostess did not seem pleased that she had to give me a cookie. Also,
I was attending an event and the hotel was the perfect location for me to rest before I left for the event. The refrigerator was a very nice size. The room was nice and clean as was the bathroom. I had a nice view from my window of green grass and trees.
