Standard twin room is to small for 3,then upgraded to suite room with additional 30 usd. Not too bad.

The room itself was clean but needed maintenance. The bed was very firm, almost too much so. The door to the patio was very old, in disrepair, and difficult to open and close. The sink in the bathroom was very slow running. There was a kitchenette, but no soap or wash towels to clean the dishes or utensils

The staff was very pleasant and the location was nice. Our room had a beautiful view overlooking the canal. Considering Honolulu is so expensive, the price point was good.

Well, I didn't like that it wasn't the Sheraton or Hyatt Regency! lol However, those places are much more expensive so it is what it is. The pool is very small and that might be an issue for some, especially families with kids - but considering the largest ocean in the world was a 10 minute walk from the hotel, that did not bother me really. The gym is also very limited. I love to workout and found the gym to be inadequate. So, I just tried to get more physical activity outdoors which was probably a nice change from my usual gym routine.

The location was great. Everything was just a quick walk away. If you want to pay more, you can have a room with a nice view of the mountains. It's not the Sheraton or Hyatt Regency, but those properties are much more expensive. For the price, this is a great value for a single guy traveling alone.

OK - I know that the name of the hotel is Coconut Waikiki, but I have a strong aversion to coconut taste and smell. The amenities are all coconut scented. Because we have stayed at the Coconut before, I knew to bring my own soap, shampoo etc. It would be nice if they had a stash of alternatives but in real life, I know that is not something that I would expect--just wishful hoping as I know we will be returning to the Coconut in the future.

Convenient location. Nice being closer to the canal. Although the road along the canal can be noisy--it does not seem to be as bad as the main road along the beach.

Microwave was very dirty inside. But understand that it might not be checked after each guest. No washing up liquid or cloth to wash dishes etc.

Lobby had plenty of comfortable seating with filtered water, tea and coffee and fresh popcorn in the afternoon. We were offered shower and toilet facilities to freshen up as we arrived really early. The upgrade to the larger room was great with a 2nd bathroom-! Location was fantastic. Great value for money. Staff were very nice

Parking is not available and quite pricey - i’m guessing it’s the same in all waikiki but it feels like they’re robbing you of something very basic. I mean the island is huge, parking is not a problem for sure - it’s like they just want to make extra money off tourists! Again, it’s not a hotel problem - more of an island problem.

The location & the willingness of the staff to help! The street adjacent to the hotel has free parking!

The property is in the corner of a very busy avenue and it can be pretty noisy specially at night.
