A nice family run hotel. Recently updated and very clean. Nice garden area in the back and fire pit to sit next to.

The rooms! Very out dated. The furniture in our room was old. No place to put your items, such as suitcases. Beds were very hard and lumpy. The bathroom had a very noticeable slop in the floor; was odd. No place in the bathroom to set out your stuff to get ready. We had to close the toilet lid so we could use it as a table. Holy moly! We could hear the people above us walking, kids playing and even talking!! Thank God they went to bed early. Lobby is even outdated. Could be so cute in there.

The location is great! The outside is a very cute and inviting. The staff was super and always willing to help.

there was a slight septic smell in the bathroom. The room was quite spartan even if it was large. Some kind of easy chair would have been useful.

Size of the room and bed were great. having a kitchen was also nice although we weren't there long enough to use it. the location of the inn was terrific and we were also able to check in a little early. the room was clean.

Considering the cost, we were very satisfied with our stay.

It was clean and comfortable. The coffee and the breakfast munchies were adequate. We will stay again.

We were given a room without two beds, and we only got one bed, No A/C and two crickets in the room all night.

The staff wasn't very helpful. Just a check in service. They're always busy on the phone and not attentive to guests.

The electronic door keys were finicky. We had to have our keys reprogrammed twice. A minor inconvenience was that the sink water faucets were reversed. What is normally the hot water on the left was cold water and what was normally cold water on the right was hot water.

The location was excellent and walking distance of downtown restaurants and shops. The room was large and roomy. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Although the Inn has been around for many years, it is clean and up to date.

Really noisy! The walls are like paper-we could hear people talking in the next room. Upstairs people felt like they were going to fall through the ceiling.

Like many coastal properties, there were small maintenance problems. And, of course, like many businesses short handed. It is a difficult location to find people to work. The bathrooms could use some updating. Perhaps some shelving in bathroom to put personal items. Repair locks. And although it didn't bother me, The maintenance crew had to bring their children. Not very professional. However, with school starting soon, that problem should ease.

It is a decent motel. Centrally located. Great if you like to walk. Bed fairly comfortable. Staff very friendly. Accessible parking. Nice lounging area in the main lobby. Priced competitively for the area.

I forgot to bring my waters and most places provide at least to water bottles for the guests. I was very thirsty in the night and had no water.

I loved that it was within walking distance to everything. It was also quiet and peaceful. Coffee in the lobby was great, however, coffee in the room was not. Overall, it was great. I also loved that the bathroom was very clean.

The rooms were quite noisy - for example our upstairs neighbours complained that my kids made too much noise (which they probably did, but they were not supposed to hear it) and we heared those upstairs neighbours walk and talk in their apartement -- suggest to insulate the walls and especially the ceiling/floor between the two levels! Otherwise the room was fine, but given the high price (over $200 for a basic room with 2 standard double beds and not much space), I would have expected a more 'boutique' experience. It would therefore recommend to either pay more for something truly ' boutique' (and that includes breakfast) OR just stay a bit further away from the oceanside and try to find a cheaper option for an equally basic room. (note: may be good to check sites other than booking.com, since booking does not seem to have a lot of options in California)

Had the same issue the last time I stayed here. Hair! Not only was there Hair on the pillows and sheets but in the shower as well. Just shows that the sheets really don't get changed out😑 Also although the bathroom was nice,it looked remodeled; alottt of water poured over onto the floor. Could practically flood the bathroom floor. Maybe they didn't really think the bathroom features through.

Location. Location. Location! The staff were nice and pleasant. Nice room size. Appreciate the microwave and fridge. The firepit outside is a cute touch.
