Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe room was a little bit on the smaller side but not an issue for us. The toilets..If you are with someone you are not familiar with, there’s not a lot of privacy sound wise. Also, this was mostly our fault however we didn’t realise there was an additional pool around the side so missed this the whole trip - probably could have been pointed out by staff. The hotel is tucked away quite remote however there is a shuttle that runs every hour and grab is easily accessible so was never an issue. We also noticed the walls are quite thin - we could hear the person in the room next to us snoring through the night (possible a loud snorer however we didn’t hear too much apart from this)
The property was beautiful, the room was extremely clean and well put together. The lobby was also lovely. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was the best we’ve had since being in thailand, a mixture of everything. nice views from the hotel room.

IsraelThe location is a bit far and cannot be made by foot because it is far and dark by night but we used taxi app device as grab to come back after the shuttle stops working
We upgraded our room to a pool access room, the room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was very nice. We had a shuttle leaving the hotel every hour to the beach area and pick up as well every hour.

United Arab EmiratesThe main pool area was a little cramped, and always very busy. The spa was nice but quite expensive, you can get massages in Ao Nang at similar standard spa’s for much cheaper.
We stayed in the pool access adults only rooms and they were fantastic. Very spacious with a really comfortable bed, and seating area, plus balcony with a sun lounger. We stayed in both an upper and ground floor room, and preferred the upper floor. The location was also great, a bit out of central Ao Nang so very peaceful. We hired a scooter from the hotel and could easily get to the main centre in 5 mins. Staff were very helpful.

United StatesOur room was full of mosquitos, and I was bitten in my sleep 8-10 times. I am allergic, so I had swelling all over my arms and my face where I was bitten. When I asked if someone could spray my room, the young man came to my door and handed me the spray. So I sprayed my own room. I was disappointed that they didn't put more effort into helping. Despite the bites, we still enjoyed our stay, and it was one of our favorite hotels during our time in Thailand.
We absolutely loved our room, which led out to the pool! We swam every day in the morning and evening. The rooftop restaurant/bar was very nice with a great view.

AustraliaCame to Anana for our honeymoon. We had a great time staying there. The staff are so lovely and helpful. The free shuttle to the beach is awesome, we also loved the swim up bar at happy hour. Had the massaman curry twice from room service because it was so yum. Massages were great also. Would love to come back sometime soon!

IsraelThe breakfast wasn’t so great mostly meat and rice and every day the same thing so I would skip it if I’d knew. The hotel is too far away from everything and not enough shuttles in my opinion so transporting is pretty expensive, also we wanted to get down at the second stop and because of the amount of people wanting to go on the shuttle we were requested to go down at the first stop. Room cleaning is very late so if your planning on a nap plan doing it late The gym facilities are not great and partly broken
Amazing rooms lower level living room so you won’t disturb your companion if asleep. The people at the reception are just amazing always trying to help as much as possible and are very nice. The pool of the pool rooms is quiet and very romantic and the big pool with the bar is very fun as well. Too bad only for a little part of the day the pool bar is working. Shower was designed perfectly and the pressure was good. Very romantic hotel. We informed the hotel that we are coming to celebrate our honeymoon and we got a little decoration but that’s it. The hotel is looking better in real life than pictures! Happy hour at the pool bar was fun as well You get 4 bottles of water each day and an espresso machine

United KingdomThe rooftop restaurant wasn't great, it was expensive for the area and they had gluten free descriptions on the menu that made no sense (the rice wasn't gluten free but another item with bread in it was?)! It's quite far out to get to other restaurants and the shuttle doesn't run very late which isn't ideal.
We were upgraded to one of the private pool rooms and it was gorgeous. Definitely worth doing if you have the opportunity as the other pool was quite busy (especially during happy hour). The staff were so helpful and the resort felt clean and relaxing. Far enough out of town to get peace and quiet and we never struggled to get taxis when we needed them.

Czech RepublicNo A/C in the dining room for breakfast. We did our laundry at the hotel - the price list said "80 B/kg", then at the reception they said 95/kg because of "service tax", it's not a big money but really annoying. There was an issue with the drainage from the shower. When we asked for a fix, they did it in about 10 minutes, but these are the things that you expect a 5-star hotel to check before people check in. Another issue is the smell of seweg, waves of smell comes every few moments at the area around the pool. It's pretty far from the beach, there is nothing much to do around the hotel in walking distance.
The view from the room/rooftop is really nice. The rooms were pretty and well designed. The bed was comfy. The rooms are well maintained. The shuttle bus to the town has sufficient frequency. Yoga classes 3 times a week included.
