“Staff were lovely and the view was gorgeous”
“What a glorious boutique hotel in a truely hidden gem. Elegant and epitomising quiet luxury, not only are the rooms comfortable but also stylish. The venue as a whole has the same aesthetic. Breakfast in the terrace is delightful and the choices are superb with fresh herbs from the garden. Yes, bathrooms are small but I found it still well laid out and functional. The minibar and coffee machine are a welcome extra and the bed was super comfortable. Service was exceptional, and I highly suggest following recommendations from the staff; they know the island and the vistas so well. I actually found parking very easy and had no issues getting to the hotel though Vis is a historical city so expect cobble stone pathways. It’s part of the charm!”
“Everything was perfect. Location, tent beautiful, forest all around, very clean toilets. The owner was the best. Very helpful, always smile, drink welcome. He is there for all information and more. If we visit Imotski again in future 100% go to Roack Oak Camp.”

“The place was perfect, rooms and toilets are extremely clean, just like the pools, there is a beach below the hotel, and there are many entertaining things to do at the hotel. The food was superb! We got a free room upgrade and a free dinner. We had an amazing time and will definitely come back again. Also, the staff is very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend coming to this hotel!”

“Some sort of crazy experiment in how to make the perfect hostel. I have stayed in a lot of them, I know something about how much work it is to get things right, the owners do it tirelessly, and reading the reviews and the guestbook, it's clear that each guest is made to feel special, without laying on unnecessary stuff and letting you do your own thing. It creates a great place to meet people and visit the town and local beaches, and learn about how to live in hedonistic fun. It's a cool place to visit just as a human being in life, never mind as a hostel or something. Don't stay in other places - stay here instead.”
