“Breakfast was basic”
“This hotel has the best location, with views over the Staubbach Falls. Some rooms have balconies on the waterfall side. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a good selection. The biggest asset of this hotel is the staff, personalized service and they have some really good advice about Lauterbrunnen and the area. This hotel was one of the original in Lauterbrunnen. The hotel serves breakfast only but there is a picnic room where you can prepare and eat your own meals if you want to eat in for lunch or dinner. But, there are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby to choose from. It is a short walk from the Train Station, taking about 10 minutes with luggage and the local bus goes past the door with 2 stops nearby, particularly good if you don't want to walk to the train station.”
“We loved the location, it was central and easy to walk everywhere. We also loved the view from our room of the Matterhorn. Breakfast was really nice and the hotel had a lift and courtesy shuttle to take us back to the train.”

“The property is very central for all amenities, 5 minutes walk from the station but on a very quiet side street. We woke up to the sound of birds singing every morning which was lovely.
The Alphorn was spotlessly clean, everyone was helpful, cheerful and made our stay truly delightful.”

“This hotel is easy to find and so close to the Interlaken West train station, we were able to walk everywhere. Our room was on the 4th floor on the side with nice mountain views and able to see the paragliding, we liked it had a lift and breakfast was great. Being on a main road the room was quieter then I expected and at night with the windows and balcony door closed you couldn't hear anything. Great stay.”
