Our wrap around deck has seen a lot of sun, must wear shoes when sipping wine and enjoying the view of the waterfall. (Which is no big deal but only thing I could think of)

This hotel was the best I ever stayed at. So peaceful, relaxing, and the staff was very, very helpful and went over and beyond what was expected to meet our needs. I highly recommend to everyone to come to this wonderland of a place in Switzerland.

They have the best location with the best view of Staubbach Fall, customer service is excellent, everyone is very nice and very helpful, especially the guy at the front desk, forget to ask for his name and the lady that prepares breakfast, their breakfast is also great, has great options and it taste great! I work in hospitality for years and they have the best hospitality amongst all hotels we have stayed at all over Europe. Very happy with my stay, will definitely stay here again when we come back to Lauterbrunnen! ❤️

The Hotel is very dated and could do with an update and there was no restaurant.

The location was superb with fabulous views. The room was large and the bed comfortable. The reception staff were very helpful and the breakfast server was super friendly and helpful.

No fridge or kettle in room. Although tea and coffee were free from dining room for most of the day.

The room had the most fantastic view and huge private balcony. Staff were excellent.and very friendly.

It was all great for us. If you choose the attic rooms, beware that the stairs are narrow and steep but they have a railing so it wasn’t a problem. And also the ceilings are low and slanted which meant my husband couldn’t stand up straight. But we only used the room at night for sleeping so it didn’t bother us at all. We loved the place!

We loved the authenticity of the place! It felt like an adventure as we stayed in an attic room with a shared bathroom. We knew this when we booked it, but trusted the high reviews of the place and were well rewarded! The staff were all amazing and helpful and went above and beyond to see that we were comfortable. We stowed our luggage and explored the town until check in. The included breakfast was also beautiful. Authentic Swiss breakfast and also bacon and eggs. They also had a playroom for children which we thought was brilliant for families.

Easily the best location in Lauterbrunnen for views of the Staubach Falls. The staff was superb--very informative and attentive. The breakfast was excellent. Our room was a corner room with a large balcony overlooking the falls and was comfortable. The common areas are nicely furnished. A large off-street parking area is available--a plus in a very crowded town.

Nothing, everything was great!

We got a room with a balcony that had a view of Staubbach Falls, which was great! The dining room also had great views of the Falls, the south end of the valley, and the mountains. The staff were all very nice and friendly, and cared about our stay. The location was convenient, about a 15 minute walk to the train station and close to several good restaurants. The local bus ran right by the hotel, with the stop being only about 100 feet away.

Pillows were sub par, could use 2 each, and the church bell is right next door which is charming but can seem loud in the middle of the night.

Strategically located.Can see Staubbach water fall clearly from room view. One of the breathtaking view in my life. Adam's service is exceptional. Go above and beyond. We were served with welcome drink and provided clear direction to another falls. He even discussed and prepared hearty to go breakfast. I wish I can stay longer and enjoy the breakfast on site. Other staffs were welcoming too.I like the coffee lounge and picnic room to heat our food. Very well thought. The room is cozy and fully equipped. I will recommend this hotel to my friend.

The balconies are very close together and the barrier is low, so not much privacy, but with those views, I am not complaining

Terrific location and very clean. And of course one of the best view rooms I've ever seen. The view of the waterfall and surrounds is simply amazing. You also get to have awesome breakfast with this view. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

We had an attic room. It was just fine for our needs. We would have used a small fan in the room if there was one. It got a little warm in there. Otherwise, a perfect stay.

I didn’t like the carpets in the room, I wish it was hard flooring because carpet feels a little less clean.

Obviously the view is amazing! The breakfast was very good too and I love how it’s relatively near the train station.

This hotel is in a stunning location with views down the Lauterbrunnen valley. We stayed in a room with a balcony and valley views, which was amazing to wake up to and relax on in the evening. The hotel is also conveniently situated near the train station via a short walk. All the staff are lovely. I'd read several reviews before arriving which said the manager, Adam, was fantastic. I would definitely agree. He was very welcoming and friendly, and was really helpful with advice and tips for our daytrips.
