“Enjoyed the breakfast (homemade bread and jams, waffles too) and the view of sheep grazing in the fields. There was also a really cute white dog around the vicinity of the car park The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. There were 2 chairs, a small table, 2 small bedside tables with lamps and a sink in the room too.The guesthouse was situated on an expansive land with hot tubs, a living room area with a small library. There was a coffee machine with a variety of coffee to enjoy while you lounge on the sofa browsing the coffee table book.”

“I had a lovely stay here. Very comfy bed, beautiful views, nice kitchen and bathroom and very, very quiet. A real Icelandic experience which I am so happy to have experienced. The host was very welcoming and friendly and told me a lot about sheep farming in Iceland. Just be prepared for a fairly long gravel road. It is in the middle of nowhere.”

“Remote in a valley, all three rooms overlooking the fields, very tranquil, stayed for one night, were the only guests and had common area all to ourselves, very relaxed hosts”
“Philip welcomed me and showed me around. He was extremely friendly and helpful. I certainly had the best meal in Iceland in the restaurant. The soup was amazing. The view from the hotel was so wonderful and I was lucky enough to see some seals and cubs very close to the hotel.”
