Nothing really. One “negative” argument would be maybe that for the fact that it’s a 5-star hotel and not the cheapest I’ve ever been to that you anyway get only 1 bottle of water for free and the rest you need to pay, but that’s really the only thing you can maybe mention as a “negative” argument.

Everything was really nice! The hotel, the staff, the location. The breakfast was really nice too! Good variety and a lot to choose from. The hotel was very clean as well. There’s nothing I can really complain about. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend to stay here as well as I would definitely come back if I’d go to Troia again one day.

The restaurants (buffet and a la carte) are below the hotel quality; the food was poor, and service was kind but below expectations for a 5-star hotel.

The water from the swiming pool outside, too cold, and the window in front of her could be cleaner. On the spa, there were several facilities taht were not working.

There are a couple of ítens missing: hot towel rack, kids roube and daily water bottle at the room. The first aid kid should also be revised and complemented.

Loved the stay in Troia Design Hotel, very nice location, rooms and staff, a special thanks to Beatriz Cruz in the pool bar a very nice and welcoming service. Overall a good ratio price/quality.

Heavy signs of use everywhere, glass railings at the pool unfortunately very dirty, long wait for the lifts, lifts partly not working and glass very dirty.

House keeping is not up to par. Cleaners forgot to clean our room one day. They did not replace coffee, tea and tea cups at other times. They forgot to leave soap in the toilet. Showers were not well cleaned, nor was the floor in the room.

Very friendly staff and excellent food in restaurants. The spa is good. The view from the room was very nice. The beds were very comfortable.

Hotel is old and needs a renovation. Staff is not great. Even though there are 4 elevators it can be a pain to move up and down since hotel is quite big and has more than 10 floors. Elevators didn’t feel very safe.

Nice location close to restaurants and shops, and in the marina. Staff were inexperienced and with an attitude they’re the last cookie of the pie. Breakfast is ok. Pool area is the nicest area of the hotel. Parking is good and big.

The hotel needs maintenance in the rooms, there are dents and scratches in every piece of furniture, there was a hole in one of the pictures hanged in the room (just remove it). It's a shame. Not directly related to the hotel, the food around the hotel is on the most expensive places I have experienced in Portugal and the quality is "meh".

The location and the view over the beach is amazing. The breakfast is great with a lot of variety, The swimming pools are great, the restaurant is good. The 3/4-minute walk to the beach is one of the best things. But the best thing is actually the staff, absolutely amazing always ready to help and with a smile.
