The bathroom doors were light wood, not very sound proof. Bathroom was also tiny. Balcony area of the room could be open (it is pretty much boxed with a small window. Parking was a bit complicated but the staff always willing to help.

Very nice location, very friendly staff, good food. Nice rooms with nice view. Fresh produce at the restaurant (farm to table) and they had good wine. Breakfast was very good.

Everything was excellent. The road to the parking of the hotel was very steep and narrow.

We liked everything, especially the dinner in the restaurant. We know it's not possible because of the position of the building, but a little private terrace at the room would have been very nice.

We had alot of luggage to take and our room was far and had alot of stairs on the way. But still we loved everything about our stay.

Everything!! Perfect hotel!! We did our last night at Madeira at the hotel and I am sorry we didn't do the whole week there. You sleep inside a vineyard with a view to the Ocean, they grow most of the food in the property, they have an exceptional breakfast and I recommend making a reservation for their dinner as well to the tables outside. When you come to Madeira this is the plase to stay!!

To get the beautiful views, the local roads to the place are challenging like many in Madeira. The parking can be similarly challenging. Maybe I just haven’t driven standard in awhile.

Amazing food. As their tag line intimates, they are a food establishment with rooms. The people were all amazing and the views are perfect. The room was up to date and fashionable. Love the bathroom.

The parking lot was a bit complicated, depending on how well/badly the other guests had parked.

We knew we were going to like the place, but the truth is that we absolutely loved it. The staff is very kind, the rooms had everything we needed, if there was anything missing they would provide it. The views were stunning from any point of the hotel. Breakfast was delicious.

Everything about our stay was exceptional. The staff are very friendly and helpful. If it was not for Melissa at reception we would have been stranded as busses had been cancelled the day we were due to leave. Melissa helped us look up alternatives and for the best prices. She was truly very helpful. The food was fresh, great variety and delicious. We loved our stay and would highly recommend staying here.

The setting is amazing but there is a very steep road up to the property and the parking is tricky. The rooms are scattered around the property so you are walking up and down steps to get around.

The experience was wonderful. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious with breakfast cooked to order. The rooms have amazing views. Would definitely stay again.

This was truly one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. We got a free upgrade to one of the villas and the view was absolutely breathtaking from our room. We sat in the window seat looking out over the sea for hours. Socalco nature is luxurious but friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is delicious too, the chef and owner cooks personalised menus. I highly recommend coming here if you are staying in Madeira!

Toiletries were too minimal there was no lotion, hair conditioner or slippers. The parking is nerve racking and not very well designed unless you’re in a tiny fiat.
