Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ItalyIt does have an en-suite bathroom but it still is practically a shared flat so you kinda need to not be noisy as others can hear you. Also, the room is quite small. Not so much room around the bed. Otherwise, is a nice place.
Very clean and pretty. Felt like home.

United KingdomNothing, everything was perfect.
The journey from the airport to Sincerely Lisboa is effortless. The bus stop is immediately outside the airport and the bus stop is approximately a 5 minute walk away from the accommodation. Breakfast was more than expected, very fresh with lots of choice. The added bonus was the availability of coffee and tea in the common sitting area when we returned at night. The beds were very very comfortable and very very clean, as was the shower room. What made our stay even more pleasurable is the staff, very welcoming, very helpful and very informative. We will re book Sincerely Lisboa the next time we visit Lisbon.

BelgiumThe shower was very very small. The breakfast buffet wasn't huge, probably due to the fact that there are only a few rooms but the main elements were there (orange juice, coffee, bread to toast, small buns, croissants, ham, cheese). Some scrambled or fried eggs would have been nice too.
The staff was super friendly and helpful. The nice woman who welcomed us gave us some tips about nice restaurants nearby and was often asking if we needed anything. The location was perfect (on Avenida da Liberdade, one of the main avenue of Lisbon), a few minutes walk from Marquês de Pombal. The room was nog big but big enough for a 4-5 days stay.

United States of AmericaMy room The San Francisco was narrower than I expected and actually felt more like a converted hallway. I am guessing since I was solo that that is the smallest room. It was fine for the one night I reserved but I would not have been comfortable for more than that.
It was exactly as described so I knew what to expect and was fine with that. The staff was very helpful and patient with my multiple questions before the trip and when I arrived.

United States of AmericaThey were very hands-on, friendly and helpful. I was honestly expecting more of a hotel environment, but instead it was more of an upscale hostel meets BnB, which was charming and met all our needs.

United KingdomNothing, being a 4th floor hotel accessed via a lift meant we were well away from the street and it was therefore quiet, an important thing at night when one is trying to sleep.
The location was ideal for what I wanted to do and see in Lisbon. As I had an early flight home, the hotel booked my taxi to the airport and left me some food to eat before I left as I would miss breakfast. To me, this is fantastic service. I'm sure I'll be back in Lisbon, and I hope to be at Sincerely Lisboa.

PolandIt's very wet inside the room and especially in the bathroom so our towels couldn't dry out normally. And even AC didn't really help because it made air just warm but still wet. We recommend to ask to change towels every day and to open window from time to time to let air become drier.
The hotel is located really close to Avenida metro station. If you go from the airport to the city center by metro, you just need to do one line transfer and you're almost here. The room is not big but quite cosy. The beds are perfect. The staff serves breakfast every morning. The round form pie is absolutely amazing! If we could we would eat it alone :D:D

United States of AmericaThe shower cabin could be a little larger ;) and the bed could have been a bit more comfortable. But it is not a complaint! What we had was sufficient.
the location of the property is SUPERB! It is in the middle of a beautifil part of Lisbon, close to metro and easly accesible by taxi or a car. There is a 24/7 parking nearby. For those that love walking, you can make it to the historic part of Lisbon in under 30 min. Breakfast was decent. the room was nice and clean. for the price we paid, the value is exceptional! especially taking in consideration that e only came to the room to take a shower, sleep and have breakfast in the morning.
