To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaDidn’t realize I was on 4th floor with no elevator and had to share the bath My bad, but not ideal. Also festival in praça had very loud music 90 decibels with the windows tightly shut! Until after midnight for 3-4 nights in a row. Very very loud.
Staff was very nice, professional, helpful. Room was very clean and nice. Comfortable bed and pillows. Lighting and electrical plugs for charging my devices were great. Bathroom was generally clean.

NetherlandsThere was no elevator in the building, and it was a bit difficult to find the hotel since there is no sign outside and it just looks like a normal apartment if you don't go to very close and see the name on the door.
Rooms were super clean, they are cleaned every day. Location was great, rather a quite area but still very close to the city.

United KingdomBeds were a tad hard but not too much of a big deal. Also, you do share a bathroom with others which isn't a huge deal but may require some wait time.
The room was amazing, it was the perfect size for two people and we had a mini balcony which allowed us to see some of the city views. The location is pretty good but you either have to walk down/up a few steps or walk up a slight hill to get to the place. Everything was clean and the staff were lovely.

CanadaThe only complaint we had was that noise from guests or staff using the back stairs late at night made it difficult to sleep a couple of nights during our stay. . This may not be a problem in any other room than #103. The only facility recommendation we would make is that the addition of a couple of comfortable chairs would have improved the comfort of our stay even more.
We were pleasantly surprised at our bright, comfortable room with its huge bed. Staff here are very friendly and incredibly accommodating. Location is also excellent on the corner of a very nice neighbourhood park, with cafes and restaurants dotted around the square, and within easy reach of the metro and beautiful Liberdade Avenue. Modern double glazed windows also did an excellent job of shutting out outside city noise.
