Everything was great, we can't complain ) That's our second stay in Roots and we love it.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly polite, and the check-in process was super quick. Our room was very clean, with a beautiful view, a comfortable bed, and a fully equipped kitchen. The location is very convenient. It was very quiet, allowing us to relax and get a good night’s sleep. Additionally, the room was spacious and a pleasure to stay in. The internet was super fast as well.

Lovely clean spacious room with great shower etc. & well equiped kitchen corner. Great Coffee available anytime. Breakfast box a good selection, although 'brioche croissants' a bit👎 Great outdoor space and Roots so well located re. transport.

we booked primarily for location as we were in transit (great for the railway but also proximity to centre) and we found that the hotel was excellent all round. Highly recommended.

Front desk staff (Marcelo and Lilyan) were friendly,warm and extremely helpful. It is ideally located with short walk to the harbour where the old town is beautiful. Recommend going on the red tour "bus". We loved eating in Amore Mio restaurant with the food excellent and ambiance superb. Room was clean and well fitted. Shower excellent. Would definitely stay here again without hesitation. Shopping mall just a 15 mins walk and is very pretty.

It is located next to the train station and main centre of Faro, rooms were exceptional and staff very friendly and accommodating. Great place to stay if you are visiting Faro. We did not have the breakfast so cannot comment.

We did not get a wake up call the day we were leaving and just about missed our train!! Do not rely on getting a wake up call - they are manual!

It truly is across the street from the train station which is very convenient!! It was a nice hotel and clean.

No streaming service, bath towels were a bit worn - need to be replaced, unpleasant coffee from the machine in the guest room.

That we couldn't stay longer, we will be back.

From the second we walked into Roots, we knew this was going to be a special hotel. The team on reception gave us the warmest welcome and couldn't have been more helpful, they'd even got our room ready early, having asked us the day before what time we would be arriving in Faro (we'd asked if we could leave our bags, so this was a massive help!). As for the beautiful apartment we stayed in, I have never seen anywhere so clean, the sofa bed had been made up for us and every little detail had been thought of. The bed was incredibly comfortable (and huge!). The additional of the small pool was a fantastic facility and the hotel was perfectly located. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, or recommend it to anyone visiting Faro. 10/10.

We had a large terrace with full sun but no means of shade what so ever. This meant we couldn‘t sit out for a large part of the day.

Spotlessly clean, friendly staff and an easy walk to all amenities in Faro. Don‘t be put off about the area it‘s undergoing regeneration but is perfectly safe.

Smelt amazing the whole time. Pool was a lovely, reset in the morning. Felt private and relaxed but also welcoming staff. Honestly, could not recommend it more highly.

TO BE HONEST THERE WAS NOTHING WE DIDN'T LIKE, MAYBE SLIGHTLY BIGGER TOWELS BUT OTHER THAN THAT EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT

WE LIKED THE APARTMENT, SO SPACIOUS AND CLEAN AND HAD EVERYTHING YOU WOULD NEED FOR A SELF CATERING HOLIDAY. STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL AND WENT THE EXTRA MILE EG I WAS STUCK AT A LOCAL SHOPPING CENTRE AND THE HOTEL STAFF WORKED TIRELESSLY TO ENSURE I GOT A TAXI BACK TO THE HOTAL ASAP

This place was spotless! Lovely modem feel. Spacious bathroom with rain fall shower- the best on my trip so far in Portugal! The kitchen comes with everything you need. There’s also free hot drinks (tea/coffee/hot chocolate/water/milk) available on the ground floor. This is the second time I’ve stayed here, first time one bedroom apt and this time a studio apartment, which had everything apart from a balcony with table and chairs. There’s a small pool outside, lots of seating available with shaded areas as well as indoor seating. The hotel is walking distance to the restaurants/sights and around the corner from the train and bus station, which is ideal if going on day trips or to/from the airport. The best thing is the warm, friendly, helpful staff, always welcoming and smiling. Will stay here again next time, 100% recommend to everyone!
