I should have gotten rooms with toilet ensuite, my fault. Shower facilities were old and rusty, but worked.

Breakfast was good. Location is just as you enter the village. Room was big but basic, good enough. Linen was clean. As a hostel it is good.

We've enjoyed our stay here. It was sufficient to relax, and have rest while doing Fishermen's trail. IMO this hotel offers a great value for money ratio.

The beds are a bit outdated

Great location along the Fisherman's trail. Quiet, clean basic rooms with a balcony. Hammocks outside to relax after a long day of walking. Nice continental breakfast available early to start walking whenever you want!

They really need to improve the 6pm check-in time, especially as most guests will be hikers. We turned up at 3pm, were told to come back around 5pm, but actually did not get the key until 6pm.

We stayed for one night on the Rota Vincentina. A typical HI experience, but good for what we required. The two receptionists were excellent and helpful, and the breakfast was better than expected. The showers were also very powerful and scorching!

The bed was very old, it was extremely loud when one was moving in it and the mattress was very thin, so quite hard. Only thin woolen blankets, no duvets.

Rooms large and comfortable. Shared bathrooms were clean and there were plenty so didn't have to wait too long for others. Breakfast was nice - cereals, toast, coffee, etc.

You can hear every noise from the hallway, but we were lucky and the other guests didnt make as much noise to bother us. Also the window didnt really close properly, we didnt mind as it was warm outside but it could be a problem in winter months.

Quite nice hostel, the twin room with private bathroom was satisfactory for one night stay while hiking Rota Vicentina Breakfeast was really great, buffet style with healthy options. There were cute goats in the backyard where our window faced.

I think the rate was a little high compared to other towns. Almograve is very small and maybe not as pretty as other places.

It was clean and right in centre of town. Lavrador restaurant was nice.

Couldn’t check in until after 5, my room with an ensuite involved 2 separate rooms so had to unlock, lock, unlock, lock, unlock, lock then unlock and lock again just to go to the toilet. Pretty annoying. My door to outside balcony wouldnt even shut, let alone lock, so I had to rely on the outside shutter for security. And the property was really noisey, even with a sleeping tablet and ear plugs.

The staff were amazing, so tolerant for the amount of people that had to deal with. Location was great as well and the room was clean.

Beds are squeeking a lot and old, even without moving a lot.

It is basic, but all you need is there. Went here while walking the Fisherman's Trail. All the other guests were walking as well, that gives a nice atmosphere. Breakfast better than expected for the price ;)
