The parking was a wee bit tricky but we got it figured out. The best parking is beside the museum across from the bus station.

The apartment is quite new and has been appointed beautifully. Everything you might need, and comfortable. The communication was great. It is close to everything.

Comfortable, secure well located apartment with free parking 50 meters away and an excellent restaurant also 50 meters away. Very large apartment in a newly renovated building. Would definitely stay again.

There was nothing to fault.

The apartment was absolutely beautifully decorated and had everything necessary to make our stay hugely comfortable. There were plenty of homely touches with the added bonus of a complimentary bottle of water. The apartment was perfectly located across from the cathedral and ideally located for the town. The hosts were super with great communication. I’d rate the place 11 out of 10 if I could.

Excellent location, right by the cathedral. Enormous suite, with all mod cons and facilities in an interesting historic building. Comfortable bed, wonderful shower. All very new and clean. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We booked two equal 1-bed suites for the same price, but they were very different. One was palatial in size and matched the pictures online. The other didn't match the photos and it was just a studio - not a 1-bed suite. Both were the same price, so that was disappointing. I wouldn't still stay again, but I would have complained if it was more than 1 night.

Absolutely beautiful property in the heart of Lamego. We'd definitely stay here again. Very comfortable beds and a good night's sleep. Enjoyed the bottle of wine left on the table! Beautiful views of the castle in the morning.

Beautifully appointed apartments with every amenity of home - cookware, dishes, dishwasher. Incredibly comfortable beds and great shower pressure. Photos are completely accurate, and the apartments are even more comfortable than pictured. My family and I loved our time in Lamego in no small part owed to how O Cantinho do Colégio felt like home.

The decor of the bedroom in the photos was warm earthy colours - I chose it for that as it was a cold, wet winter weather and I liked the personal touch rather than a corportate feel. However the apartment I had when I arrived was not the same as the photos and mostly white walls and grey furnishings so didn't feel as cosy.

Great little appartment with everything I needed. Right in the cente but quiet at night. Comfy bed and sofa. I booked half an hour before I arrived and communication and check in was very quick easy.

Throughout the whole process from booking our stay in O Cantinho do Colégio Lamego, from our check in to our checkout, Cristina and Álvaro have simply been Fantastic! Extremely helpful, always reachable whenever we needed them. They answered all our queries and efficiently replied to all of our messages. They have created such a warm and welcoming environment in their beautiful boutique apartments, that you just feel so comfortable, relaxed, not to say at home. O Cantinho do Colégio is beautifully designed and the apartments have everything that you could possibly need. It also felt more like we were dealing with friends, then just being clients. It truly has been a wonderful experience staying at O Cantinho do Colégio. If you are looking to stay in Lamego, we would highly recommend these very stylish boutique apartments and Cristina & Álvaro five star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ service. It is a hidden gem in Lamego’s historical centre, on the door step of Lamego’s Cathedral and walking distance to the overwhelming beauty of Nossa Senhora Dos Remédios and to all the other sites, still standing as memories of the past. The procedure to open the main door to the property was a little confusing, but with some trial and error, we figured out how to open it. The room itself has some high up windows, that allow light to shine in, which is not ideal for sleeping, and there was no way to cover them up. That is the main concern I had with the apartment - since there are street lights that shine in at night.

The property is located in a very nice area and central to everything. I went out to walk at night and the city gets busy again around 8pm. There is a nice energy to the city and some nice places to eat. It was a nice touch that they provided some gifts (wine and treats).

Nothing to dislike about the property, but just a note about finding the place. We had trouble finding the property despite all the pictures and emails prior to arrival. The landmarks given should be a bit clearer. We ended up parking (temporarily) at the flower shop nearby to offload the luggage and then parking in the parking lot of the bus station.

We really enjoyed the apartments and property. Great design, comfortable with great amenities. We appreciated the entry codes for easy and more flexible access to the property. Great location, in the heart of Lamego.
