To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaOur room and floor did not smell good as if someone had a dog or cat in the apartment for an extended time. And our room was definitely lacking the art creativity of the other spaces. It's almost like our room wasn't finished.
The staff were absolutely amazing!!! I would come back just for the staff.

We arrived earlier than check-in time (of which I had previously notified the manager) and needed to store our bags until a room became available. The reception desk attendants, while kind, were slow and left our bags out in the open lobby where anyone could easily take them. To be fair, they were attending to other guests and waited until the line was gone before they transferred our bags to the storage room, but we just felt it could of been handled better given there were 2 reception attendants. Also, we had asked to be prioritized for the first room availability after our arrival as we had been traveling for several hours. My husband waited in the lobby after we ate breakfast and although they knew he was waiting for a room, they never informed him when the room was ready, instead opting to notify me while i was out sightseeing via text. We just thought it would've been obvious, if not considerate, to kindly let him know. My husband just felt in general that he was made to feel uncomfortable and treated as if he was loitering instead of a paying guest whenever he was in common areas of the hotel.
Location was perfect - walking distance to great shopping, restaurants, and important landmarks in Lisbon. There is also a cute rooftop bar with lovely views of the city, artisanal cocktails, and a DJ who spinned during happy hour. The rooms were larger than most European tiny apartment and even had a little sitting area and kitchenette. We also appreciated the charm of the artistic decor.

CanadaWell it’s a problem in the area is so full of tourists, so the problem is general with really all places in Baixa with the urban sewage backup not so strong fumes. Not in the room at all. Not often but if very very busy can be not so great. Is not serious and is a city problem.
This is an amazing and wonderfully creative place. Very happy vibe and decor and layout. So close to everything. I could live here as it’s so cool and grooving.

Insanely central. Perfect location to walk to almost everything. Super comfortable and cool looking room. Good check in with apples and pastries in the lobby. I didn’t go to the rooftop bar or the buffet breakfast but they were nice to have! Great view, yet quiet. Good climate control, shower, nespresso and refrigerator. Just a super comfortable place. Can’t imagine better.

Reception staff were very helpful and lovely. Housekeeping did a great job cleaning our room every day. Bar staff were lovely, and the cocktails in the rooftop bar were delicious. So overall, it was good value for money.
