The Fonte Santa place was a very positive surprise - it felt like an oasis close to the city centre. The location was very central (20 min or so walking distance from the central Porto metallic bridge) and yet very refreshing. And the breakfast was so good...

The regular rooms are a bit small and cramped, but overall, comfortable.

Top of a steep hill from the river front but easy to find uber or taxi back to the hotel. No snacks in mini bar.

Beautiful House Friendly owner and staff very informative of things to do in the area. Great location close to Porto, River front and Port cellars but not in the crowds, metro within 14 min walk. World of wine and River for boat trips and cable car 15 min walk Nice room. Decent continental breakfast. Lovley view from breakfast terrace. Mini bar in room

The garage was difficult to maneuver and a bit pricey. However, I appreciated that it was available!

The host and staff were helpful and friendly. I liked the sustainability features - lots of natural materials. Great view from my window looking across the garden to the Douro and Porto on the other side. I walked down to the river and looked at the lights of Porto while I had dinner. I highly recommend the Fonte Santa!

This renovated manor house is very stylish, the location perfect if you are looking for a quiet but centrally located stay (only a 10 minutes walk to WOW and the river Duoro). We received a lot of very good recommendations and bits and bites to go with the wine we enjoyed on the terracce.

Beautiful accommodation and we really enjoyed the breakfast. The staff were so friendly. We were getting up early to go on the Douro wine tour and Augusto arranged for us to have an early breakfast.

The rooms are beautifully finished & well appointed, but the toilet & shower arrangements in the rooms are rather open plan (glass enclosure only) & may not suit all. This is a minor point that did not detract from the overall excellence of the experience.

The location is ideal for visiting Porto centre. The house is unique being an oasis of olde worlde charm (brought bang up to date) in a redeveloped area of newer building. The host is very charming & accomodating & overall I cannot recommend this place enough.

Not having facilities in the room such as an iron , facilities to make a hot drink after a long day out.and no wardrobe. Otherwise, it was a pleasure to stay there.

The customer service was second to none. The building was beautifully furnished and well restored with beautiful views from the terrace.quality bedding and towels, too. The owner and the staff were lovely.
