The location is superb. Close to tons of restaurants and numerous public transport options. Lina is amazing and she provided me with amazing recommendations and a very warm welcome.

Unfortunately there is a crosswalk outside, that beeps all through the night. Otherwise a quiet neighbourhood.

The staff, an older couple, were exceptionally kind and sweet. Helpful, positive people, who made the visit very enjoyable, and make us want to return!

I honestly can't think of any downsides. The washroom is shared, but it was always spotless, and we didn't have any issues with timing/other guests.

Lina was probably the most hospitable and welcoming host we've ever had! We felt welcomed into this hotel, and she was always there for us -- whether it was to give an expert local recommendation or to teach us a bit of Portuguese. The room was also very comfortable and the property was impeccably cleaned.

The staff were amazing, I was there for a day and had little time to pack so for little things the staff went out of their way to help me, I would reccomend the place, although the toilet is outside the room, it is very well maintained.

Beds were not terribly comfortable. It's in an old building (though that is part of its charm) so sound traveled. Some street noise could be heard throughout the night, but we still slept.

The staff was very friendly and kind. The hotel itself is quirky and the room was perfectly adequate for a short stay. The room was clean and well cared for. It was an unusually warm day, so we were appreciative of the air conditioning.

Could have been easier to spot the location but we found our way in the end haha!

We loved the woman who was working there during our stay, she was very humble and fun. I recommend this hostel for anyone looking for a cozy and beautiful stay in this amazing city.

The location is a bit far from the main attractions in Lisbon but is well connected via metro (5 min walk) and via bus. There are also still a number of restaurants and bars in the area if you don't want to go into the centre in the evenings. The walls are also quite thin - I could hear someone snoring who was not in my room, but the fan helped with that since it acted as white noise. Overall, I'd still recommend this stay, especially given the price.

Lina, the proprietor, is the kindest and most helpful person you will meet! She made sure all our needs were met and answered our questions. She also allowed us to store our luggage securely at the property for the afternoon after we checked out, which was super helpful. The shared bathroom and the bedroom was very clean, and the AC unit worked well - we just used it in fan mode to act as some white noise given the proximity of the room to the road. Overall, would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a place to stay in Lisbon on a budget with more privacy than a hostel.

Well positioned, clean with great beds and bedding. Very helpful host assisted in keeping our luggage in storage as we arrived on an early flight and the room was still occupied. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and the communal bathroom more than enough for the amount of rooms. Good value for money.

It would be more convenient to receive the key to the main gate and apartment, not only a room. It didn't feel nice to wake up the owner when we were back from our friend's party late in the night.

Very good price / value ratio. Walkable to city centre, close to metro. Nice restaurants around, local coffee bar downstairs, great for breakfast with fresh orange juice. Safe residential area. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Super clean! We stayed there twice.

Would not recommend this place to partiers since you have to buzz in to access your room.

Amazing property. Large rooms exactly as pictured. Room came with a shower, sink and bidet. Lina was so wonderful and sweet. Great location (3 min walk from Metro) or 15-20 min walk from centre.

We weren't able to check in until 4pm, which with our early arrival to the city meant that we couldn't rest until late in the day. We were able to leave our bags, though, which was helpful.

The property is in a very old building and has a lot of charm. We loved our room, it was very romantic and perfect for two people for a few days. The A/C worked great, and the housekeeper was warm and friendly. This place is very mom and pop.
