Rented a car & had to find own parking in a separate lot. The hotel did recommend a nearby lot but I wish the hotel had some sort of reserved nearby parking facility which you could book in advance.

Very nice location central to all restaurants & museums etc. Very friendly and helpful staff and delicious restaurant food and amazing breakfast buffet. Very clean and comfortable hotel.

Excellent location in the heart of the old town, modern facilities, excellent pool and rooftop and friendly staff. The breakfast also had a wide range of options to choose from!

There is no parking there. The public garage is not too far but isn't open all day so if you have to catch an early flight there is only street parking which is almost impossible to find on a Saturday night and we had to walk for 15 minutes at 5 am.

The hotel seems to be almost new and great design in the lobby, the location is perfect to experience Funchal at night, great restaurants nearby. loved the spacious room and bed as well as the design of the bathroom with bath tub. We were offered a breakfast bag because we had a very early check-out - great!

The location is fabulous. Step out of the door and everything is there. Gives the hotel a lovely buzz being in a part of town where so much is going on. Fabulous rooftop pool and bar area. A little haven of peace with excellent bar staff, lots of seating options and great views. Extremely good breakfast ahead of some long levada hikes A beautifully run hotel. Ticked all the boxes. Would stay again in a flash.

Unfortunately nearby nightclub noise went on till 4am on some nights. More storage space in room would be good.

Shower was super but would have been safer if grab handles were fitted, especially for elderly folk.

Delicious with a good range of foods, all well presented. Took us a while to work out how to use the coffee/tea machine but it was effective when we did. Staff really helpful re printing off boarding cards.

The pool was rather small and definitely not deep enough but understandable since it’s a rooftop pool. The views from the room were not great. Every room is pretty much facing a small alley with loud noises during the night from the vibrant city center. What was most disturbing though was the noise from the ventilation system that was waking us up in the middle of the night to do suction from the water accumulated in the process of cooling the room down. I am not sure if this horrible noise every 3-4 hours for 30 min was a feature a the system or simply a malfunction.

The location is ideal for exploring the city center and the island itself as everything starts from there. The room is bog enough and well maintained with a great bathroom and great bed ( sleeps 9 out of 10) and amazing breakfast and dinner option in the Noz restaurant.

I have wishes that my room in my birthday day, will be clean and have some flowers /champagne, sweetness and write this few times, this day clean staff arrive very late and nothing was not prepare. So Disappointed.

Small point but only coffee machines often meant a queue at breakfast and the coffee wasn’t great.

Location was excellent, right in the centre and very near the marina. The room was good with a huge bed and a fantastic waterfall shower. Shame the window was onto the side street. Breakfasts were very good with lots of options.

Noise outside - I like my window open. Swimming pool area too crowded sometimes.

Very modern hotel. Very clean. There was no view from my window, really, but I booked the room for the location, so it did not bother me. There was a noise outside day and night, but it was only a problem if the window was open. Great rooftop swimming pool. I would definitely book this hotel again.

We had to swap a pillow as it had black marks on it. The floor had bits on it which was noted when walking around barefoot. However, we were allowed to check in earlier than we expected, so maybe the room was turned around fast. Pump dispenser for shower gel (attached to wall) was loose and eventually dropped off after a couple of showers by myself and my friend also sharing the room. This was fixed promptly though.

Lovely hotel, great location. The terrace and pool are a nice place to spend an afternoon with a fab city view. The breakfast was fantastic!

Sometimes noise in the room in the evenings from the side streets restaurants, but I guess that’s the case with the central location of the hotel.

Excellent facilities and services, perfect location to explore the town and catch different buses to different attractions. Beautiful hotel, the room was spacious and very clean. Great toiletries, bath robes, slippers, even toothbrushes. Breakfast was perfectly varied, lots of choices and great coffee. The rooftop pool has excellent views of the old town and the marina.

Everything. The staff was so nice and accommodating. They reserved an outdoor table for breakfast because my father is high risk for covid and we try to be careful. They were very helpful. The room was huge and comfortable. It was very clean and centrally located as well.

AC was quite cold, and it seem that that thermostat doesn’t affect it. Of course we could turn it off but we did want some AC.

Nice clean and comfortable rooms. We didn’t use the pool or other facilities. Great location.
