Everything. The location, the hosts, and the breakfast were just perfect. The view - you usually see this view in pictures, but you can experience it for yourself here. Yes, you have to drive up the mountain a bit, but the view and the whole experience are worth it. The hosts - are attentive, friendly, and caring. This is a small family business so you get treated like a family. The breakfast - different hand-made pies every day, a huge selection of superior quality teas, great coffee, and a selection of various foods, including variations of eggs. The selection is wide and everything is fresh. Honestly, you wouldn't find this kind of quality in some 5-star hotels. Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed our stay in villa selene, it’s a wonderful location, amazing view to enjoy from the terrace, quiet rooms, they are also freshly renovated and look even better than pictures. It’s also worth to mention that it’s a family run hotel and the family is absolutely lovely, very accommodating, friendly and helpful. Can only recommend!

The most amazing getaway place you Can imagine - peace and quiet with an atmosphere of authentic Italian passion for what you are doing. Breakfast was nothing but Perfect with small daily surprises. The hostesaft prepared homemade smoothies, and pushed them to the guests with passion. We Can only reccomend this place with all our hearts, Will most certainly be back !!!!

Super location, with magnificent view over lake Garda. No better place to enjoy breakfast then the terrace of this hotel. Breakfast itself is very tasty, with very wide offering & choice, with some additional options (eggs any style, coffee any style,..). This is a quiet, small, family-run hotel, that offers genuine & authentic hospitality: Anita and her son Filipo bring lots of personal touches and make you feel at home. Our room had a big terrace with view of the lake. Good quality mattresses, so we slept very well We had a fantastic stay, this place is ideal for both 'dolce far niente' or MTB/hiking Loved it.

Great hotel and the mother and son running the hotel borth are very kind and caring...... Stunning views that you will never forget. And the breakfast was wonderful so many options and not forgetting the smoothie to order when you have breakfast. I will definitely recommend this hotel and if I go to Garda I will definitely go there again ... the best view rooms names looking to the Photos this two rooms were the best rooms great hotel great people. The room we stayed in was fairly basic, but it had everything we needed. The location and views more than made up for a little less luxury indoors! You will need a car to be able to access the hotel and the roads are very steep and bendy. This was no problem for us (we really enjoyed driving around and exploring!) but something to bear in mind if you are not a confident driver.

The staff at Villa Selene - Anita and Fillipo - were incredibly welcoming and friendly, helping us to book a table at a local restaurant and always making sure we had everything we needed. The views from the hotel are unbelievable, and eating breakfast outdoors overlooking the lake and mountain vista was a real "wow" moment. We visited in May, and found the village very quiet and peaceful, you're certainly away from the crowds here - the only noise you can hear at night is the singing of cicadas. We couldn't believe how lucky we were to stay here, and were very sad to leave.

It is a little bit hard to reach the hotel, the roads are very narrow so you can't drive more than 30 km/hr. Small cars are recommended in these places.

Perfect location with a scenic view of the lake and mountains. Small, quiet, peaceful hotel with a romantic atmosphere. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with wide beds and a small balcony. A rich and fresh breakfast included vegetables, fruits, cheese, yogurts and more.. Eggs and coffee were served individually after you ordered. The family who owns the hotel was very kind and helpful.

It was one of the best long weekends we’ve ever had. You need a car to get to the property and be prepared for a bit of a drive but it’s so worth it!!! The view from the property is stunning and you are in a peaceful area, away for hustle and bustle of the lakeside. Anita and Fillipo were amazing, they really look after their guests and make everyone so welcome and comfortable. They are always happy to provide any info on attractions, directions etc. Breakfasts were delicious, with something new to try every day. We really enjoyed our morning coffees served with Anita’s excellent sense of humour and a lot of laughter at breakfast time 😃 We also a lovely treat on our last day - a lovely pasta lunch prepared by our hosts for all the guests. We can’t wait to go back as we loved every second it. Thank you for a fantastic experience!

The shower gel won’t come out of the bottle, probably quite old. Recommend to bring your own bath products. The walls are quite thin, so you can hear other people outside the door.

The view was amazing! Sitting on the terrace with a simple coffee was a experience I would never forget. Waking up with a balcony view of the lake was also hard to beat. The staff were very friendly and helpful, too.
