Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyThe dining choices were unfortunately very limited, they have three main ala carte restaurants at night but they rotate what is open- so the capacity of guests is too much for the dining options. Buffet dining gets a bit tiresome three meals a day and we were not able to try the Asian restaurant- that and they hosted a wedding party at one of the two available restaurants so no normal guest was able to dine. The spa was also very anti-climactic- there were not separate facilities for men and women and the treatments were very expensive and not professional.
It was quiet, beautiful and the staff was very helpful

GermanyI have just 2 small points to mention: hotel room size on site is counting quite sizable bathroom. When I was booking 23 sq m room, I was expecting different size of the accommodation. In reality the room was small, the bathroom was of great size. In general I have a point on this and try not to chose small rooms below 20m, therefore it was a disappointment. However, I have to say next day I didn't care about it already, as the room was wisely planned and was very cozy. 2nd: this is the first hotel in my experience of such a high class, where you need to pay 20 euro to go to sauna. Never ever faced this and don't think this is normal, if you buy premium level at 5 start hotel.
Absolutely great hotel! Didn't regret that I chose it at all and had a great premium experience. Very cozy and nice bungalow, close access to the sea, good pool with a lot of place around, absolutely fantastic food.

United KingdomFor a long stay, the menu choices would get repetitive, especially in the a la carte restaurants where one has to book in advance at reception. The communal inside bar area was always crowded and is not large enough for the size of hotel. The resort is a little under 5 stars in terms of quality of accommodation, food, lack of concierge etc. However, it offers very good value for money.
The location, whilst remote, was on the beach. It was easy to access by car but there are no other restaurants within walking distance. The buffet lunch and dinner in the main restaurant was busy but offered a large and varied choice of food. The cocktails were very good in all the bars. The front desk staff were very helpful. The other staff were very friendly and with our experience of Sicily, above the normal standard of Sicilian hotels. The bungalows at the beachfront on the south west edge of the property were spacious and offered a degree of seclusion.

MaltaBuffet restaurant was very busy and noisy especially during weekend. We didnt feel safe with this covid situation. Staff were extremely busy and we had our table taken twice whilst we went to get food so we had to change table 3 times during 1 dinner. The 2 other restaurants (a la carte) were only available on weekdays upon booking. On a positive note we'd like to praise the staff person who took care of serving pasta at buffet dinner - she was very hard working and was always nice to people despite having so much work
Comfortable and clean rooms with daily water refill. All meals inclusive as described on booking.com Beautiful private beach and pools.

United KingdomUncomfortable bed, tiny room that didn’t look like the pictures, restaurants closed or reservations not available all week, buffet was very samey even though the evenings were themed it was only a couple of dishes - the pools were out dated with unclean mouldy tiles even in the spa. Very poor value for money! It took ages to get a drink at dinner, the soft drinks come in tiny cups. Signature level pool was over crowded the beach is tiny and dirty and full of sharp rocks and people are allowed to smoke all over the resort which is vile

Switzerland- It’s an old resort that has been only partially renovated. Some parts of the hotel are still very old, and not according to the pictures - It’s all inclusive but actually only for the buffet. If you booked for 2-3 nights, you won’t get any place for the A La Carte restaurants. - Walls are too thin and you can here the TV from your neighbours. Not too much privacy… - Lights are too brights
The rooms are nice and modern.

LithuaniaEven though the hotel is quite new, it looks better in pictures than reality. We kinda felt that it is too big to fulfil all guest related requests (like a la carte restaurant reservations (if you're only having a short stay - it's impossible to try their a la carte restaurants due to super high demand and bookings in advance)). When you arrive you're offered to download their App (where you supposed to get all information and other services), but as it appears later on - it only gives you an information (basically a map and working hours), but the a la carte restaurant booking and also spa booking services doesn't work. The hotel (as big as this) basically lack proper amount of the A la carte restaurants (or the seating places should be increased to fulfil the demand) since they’re quite small and cannot welcome too many guests. The restaurant "Portafino" could be located on the hill overlooking the sea, not near the swimming pool where guests and their kids enjoy their water activities till very late and definitely ruin the mood of a calm and nice dinner. For breakfast we had to go to the other building of this hotel group so ALL guests had to use the only breakfast buffet option in the campus. All in all, restaurants are a HUGE ISSUE that should be a good consideration topic for the hotel's owners and management in the future since current situation doesn't give too many prestige points (as a proper 5* hotel should have). App requires improvement too. :)
The staff was polite and kind. Good selection of pools (so you can choose the calmer or more active one, depending on the mood). The sea was nearby, which is also nice. "Portofino" - A la carte restaurant (the ONLY one we could get a table booked at) had a nice selection of Italian foods (pasta, pizzas), although the appetisers options could have a wider selection as of 5* hotel.

Czech RepublicEverything. It’s like 2* Turkish all exclusive hotel. Don’t recommend. The drinks on bar - they are mixing gin tonic with a water :( I think they are doing the same with all the drinks.
One thing :) they have new rooms, but the rooms really small and tiny. This is not worth such money!
