This residenza was the PERFECT stay for Venice. Not only was it perfectly situated (just far enough from the hustle and bustle, but still close enough that you can easily walk anywhere within a few minutes), but it was beautifully kept and maintained (clean and very traditional) and Maria Elisabetta was absolutely lovely to deal with. Communication was excellent and everything was exactly as described. On top of all of this, the restaurants just outside your doorstep were fantastic and if you’re lucky, you may even be fortunate enough to enjoy a local playing the accordion just outside your window in the mornings <3 We could not be happier with our stay and I highly recommend this property!

The smell from the toilet was not good and it would be better to put the blankets into the bed sheets (inside).

Wonderful place. Hard to find, but then.... Right in the middle of Venice, not too many tourists. Everything like supermarket, Vaporettos and places of interest easy to reach. The view to the nearby canal was spectacular, the terrace nice and cosy. The landlady very friendly and polite. In total: A Wonderful place to spend a couple of days in Venice.

The location was excellent and the view from the room to the canal was great. It was close to several great restaurants and bars as well as sights such as St. Mark's Basilica and the Doge palace. The room was a little small but felt very homey.

The rooms are up several flights of narrow stairs. We didn't bring suitcases (just light carry bags). I would not recommend bringing too much luggage as you have to carry it up the stairs and you honestly won't need much other than some good walking shoes to see all the sights.

The location is excellent. Our host was very gracious and the apartment had everything we could have asked for and more. It was a truly Venetian experience. Very comfortable with a lovely little balcony and views onto the canal. It was far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the main area to be enjoyable but close enough to quickly walk to all the main areas including St Marcos. A basket of goodies for breakfast including eggs and a CD player with some classic music of various genres.

This is a superb place to stay - so central, but feels like it's tucked away. Quite easy to find. And it meant that I could pop back during the day to recharge. The room was great and Maria had thought of everything you might need. The view, looking straight down onto a canal brimming with gondolas means that you really feel that you are right there in the thick of it. Maria was incredibly helpful and made some excellent restaurant suggestions. This was exactly what I was looking for. A little more than I would normally pay, but actually very worth it.

This is a very minor issue, but it bothered me slightly. The duvet did not have a cover; instead, there was a sheet placed under it. While this arrangement is generally acceptable, it can be problematic if you tend to move a lot during sleep. The sheet can easily come off, leaving the duvet exposed, which is not ideal.

The host of the accommodation was exceptional and ensured that our stay was perfect from beginning to end. The house, being a family home, had a charming and inviting atmosphere. We stayed in the Artists Room, which was meticulously clean, both the room itself and the attached bathroom. Although the room wasn't particularly spacious, this is quite common in Italy. However, what it lacked in size, it made up for with a stunning view from the window overlooking the canal below. Despite being located in a bustling area, the noise level was surprisingly manageable. The greatest highlight of all was undoubtedly the location, as it provided easy access to anywhere we wanted to go. With the water bus station just a 5-minute walk away and the opportunity to take a gondola ride right from downstairs, convenience was at its finest. Overall, our trip was truly amazing, and if given the chance, I would unquestionably choose to stay here again.

Perfect Location, Maria Elisabetta couldnt have been a better host. The suite has everything you could need and was just a text/call away at anytime if needed, she even had a straighter, minifridge and snacks. Like a home away from home. Room was very clean and beautifully decorated. Location was great could walk everywhere and was easy to find thanks to the detailed instructions sent by the host. Could not recommend enough. Thanks Maria for everything and will be back in the future!
