The restaurant dinner food wasn't great for the price. Breakfast was good however.

It's right on the ocean, restaurant has waves lapping right outside. Staff were very helpful and problem solved our pre-arranged taxi pickup at the Civititechia port. Would definitely stay again.

We didn't like the evening meal but that was our personal choice. There was always people eating in there.

Location was brilliant. Breakfast was very good. Continental but plenty of choice.

Very difficult to catch a tax to the airport from San Marinella. The taxi guy was going to charge 180 euros. We had to catch a train to Rome and then taxi to the airport. Not many shops. The area of San Marinella itself is a bit run down. You can see that it used to be very grand with a history of very famous people escaping there for the beach and sun shine. The restaurant at the hotel is very expensive for dinner for what you get.

The staff were lovely. The hotel was nice and we had a lovely view with the sound of the ocean. The breakfast was nice too and well priced.

It is beautiful property with an incredible view of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Caesar and the rest of the crew are so very helpful and eager to make our stay a fabulous experience.

The garden was nice. The beach chairs and the beach were also nice. I use a manual wheelchair and was able to get around the property.

Not really a bad point but stayed 4 nights and ate all nights at hotel, would have liked to try something different on 1 or 2 nights. The deep fried " shrimp" ( king prawn) were out of this world

The hotel staff were exceptionally professional, they organised transport from FCO and to cruise port. Sharon checked our requirements and emailed us. Beautiful location even obtained tea making facilities. Only made breakfast 1 day out of 4, day of departure and breakfast fine.

The smell in the bathroom.

Beautiful location right on the sea. Wonderful seafood restaurant, #1 rated in the area. Room was good with beautiful sea view. However bathroom had a very fast smell throughout the stay. Staff was remarkable especially Ceasar at the front desk. So very helpful. All in all, a very nice place to stay.

Santa Marinella at end of season so many restaurants, bars & shops closed - Hotel also closing in 2 weeks so no alternatives for meals other than the hotel.

We didn’t know we needed to make a reservation at the hotel restaurant and some of the amenities were not totally clear (probably more my fault than the hotel’s fault), but the service was great once we got settled. It’s not cheap, but it was worth it.

It felt like a perfect size small private resort. The offerings were great and a small place like this directly on the Tyrrhenian Sea is a gem. Their private waterfront is amazing and I preferred the rocky shore over the crowd at the sandy public beach.

Although we booked a Junior Suite I don’t think it should be classified as such. It may have been the hotels biggest room with fab view out onto the ocean but it was no more than a room with an en-suite bathroom. That is not really to complain as it was lovely

Great stay not too far from Rome when stranded by BA and we wanted to relax by the sea.

A longer stay would have been better.

My room overlooked the Mediterranean Ocean and had a balcony with 2 chairs and table. Breakfast was included and plentiful. Coffees, teas, juices, assorted pastries and eggs and bacon and Italian sliced meats and fruit. Very nice.

We visit Santa Marinella for many years, we really love this place! Special atmosphere and beauty. Villa delle Palme - an integral part of it. Coming back here like home thanks to the hospitality of the hostess and people’s attitude
