We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

South AfricaIt was simply not what was conveyed by site. It gave the impression of a large establishment. It transpired to be a pocketful of rooms in a shared building with difficult access.
I left a small bag by mistake. The staff were wonderful in taking it and posting it and liaising with me to get it to me.

IsraelIt's very difficult for me to answer this question concisely and fairly. The location is excellent. We arrived at 03:00 CET having been sent email instructions how to check-in. We arrived at the hotel by shuttle from the airport and there was no sign: we couldn't believe that the driver had brought us to the correct address. But, yes, there is large door with a keypad as stated in the instructions and we gained entry. We then realized that actually the "hotel" is situated on the third floor of an office/apartment block. You have to climb a few stairs to reach a very old-fashioned elevator and then you need to enter another code to gain access to the "hotel", which is actually some three or four bedrooms, a storage room and reception, which is manned only between 08:00 and 12:30 (i.e. mid-day) each day. We didn't order breakfast - but we did ascertain that "breakfast" requires the guest to fill in a form, in response to which the hotelier will go out and buy a continental breakfast of your choice. You don't really need him to do this for you, given the vast number of cafes in close proximity to the hotel. I agree with other reviews that the room is clean and comfortable. I did not like the shower, which after one use (and prior to daily cleaning) left a large puddle since the floor of the shower stall retains the waste water. The tap in the bathroom sink is located on the right hand side of the basin and is inconvenient for right-handed users, when cleaning one's teeth for example. When I book a hotel via Booking.com and see good reviews, I do expect that the hotel will be staffed 24/7. This one is not - and there's nothing on-line that I saw that might give any clue to this. So my wife were disappointed and if we return to Rome, we will not come back to this hotel. But this may not detract from the enjoyment of all guests.
There's more that I don't like - please read my comments below. On the credit side, we agree with other reviews that the rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious and that the manager (when you manage to cross paths with him!) is friendly and helpful. There's an Espresso machine and a free daily bottle of water per guest, which is a very nice touch. But if you're looking for a full-service hotel, this is definitely not for you. If all you want is a clean and comfortable room with great location, this hotel may well answer your expectations. Rome is admittedly expensive, but I also think that for what you get, this is overpriced. We paid about the same in Florence for a 4-star hotel that exceeded our expectations.

IsraelThe welcome message when booking needs to be exceptionally clear which location you’ve booked as both are called “JB Relais” except this one has also the word “Luxury” appended at the end. The buildings are not convenient to ascend with lots of luggage so going to the wrong location and staff not present (they are only there a few hours in the morning each day) is a very frustrating experience. The distance between the two locations is not far but it’s the inconvenience of the buildings and getting luggage up and down and no one being present when you get there that really frustrates if you make the mistake and go to the wrong exactly named location when entering it in Google Maps.
The location is perfect. The staff are very welcoming when they are present and the rooms are a good size.
