Perfect place to stay in this Boutique hotel. Very spacious and beautifully decorated, felt very much in keeping with Lucca itself. Staff were very welcoming & helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

It was all perfect

This property was an absolute gem 💎 It is in a perfect location for exploring Lucca, right in the centre but down a small side street so a peaceful nights sleep is guaranteed. We were greet on arrival by Patrizia who was wonderful, she explained everything we needed to know about the area in detail and gave us lots of great tips for our short stay. We stayed in the Purple Room, it was really beautiful, spotlessly clean and felt like a real treat. We cannot rate this place highly enough. We are on a 3 week trip with 7 different locations and have lots of places to go to on our travels and we are just hoping that they are all as good as this. Thank you so much, perfecto!

Nothing about the property but shame on the people who stayed there and stole the lovely decorative touches etc so that now means has to charge a deposit!

Wonderful and knowledgeable owner operator host who has done this historical property up beautifully. NB this means no lift and steep stairs if that’s a problem for you. For us it was part of the charm.

There are so many things I loved about my stay, that it’s hard to know which one to begin with. First, the host Rebeccka has been instrumental in the grand pleasure of Luca. She recommended Opera, although it’s usually something I wouldn’t consider. It was brilliant. And a tiny venue, and so intimate and alive. She recommended restaurants, one of which I’ve been to twice this week. Communication with Rebecka has been perfect. The bed is comfortable with a memory foam topper and two memory foam pillows. It’s nice that she is eco-friendly doesn’t waste a lot of plastic with the mini disposable bottles. The blue room is so comfortable with two windows for a cross breeze. I also stayed in the purple room, which was fine. I love the location. You are in the center and you’re so many shops and restaurants but down a quiet little side street. My favorite type of location. All in all, an absolutely wonderful day and I highly recommend it.

Superb gem in the centre of Lucca down a quiet street but only minutes from shops bars and restaurants. A beautiful "boutique" style room with exceptional design. Very comfortable bed and we lived the 2 windows onto the street. Fantastic staff and nothing too much trouble, gave restaurant and bar recommendations which were great and the clever keypad security system saved carrying keys around. Stairs no problem-only a flight more than a UK house to the top floor so ignore other reviews mentioning them. Truly a fabulous place, we are already planning our return !

Lots of stairs. Four flights up to room and stairs to reach bathroom above. Very poor communication with hostess regarding location. Abrupt and condescending attitude from her. Staff entered our room when we had “do not disturb” sign up.

The number of stairs required to climb to get to the room, plus the stairs to get to the bathroom was ridiculous. Hopefully our 2night stay will not impact the rest of our month long vacation, but at this point we are incredibly sore. I so wish the stair issue would have been disclosed earlier so that I could have requested something more appropriate for our 70 something bodies. Getting our luggage up and down was excruciating! Too bad because the stay was perfect otherwise, so I do highly recommend with the warning to make sure to request a lower room unless you are very young and fit with minimal luggage.

Very minor - we walked past the door the first time as it's a small property and wasn't very clear.

The room was beatifully set up with plenty of space. The bed was extremely comfortable with smooth, crisp bed linen. The staff were really helpful, pointing us at a number of great restaurants for dinner and breakfast - although there are options at every turn in Lucca. And it's well positioned, only a minute or so from the magnificent Anfiteatro

The only thing was check-in and dropping off bags was confusing. I don't mind if the room is not ready but we did tell them that we were getting there early just to drop the bags off but no one was there so we had to call them. However this is only a small issue and I would definitely stay there again.

The room was beautiful and spacious. It was also very clean and the bed was super comfortable. I also liked the location.
