Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Czech RepublicHotel Villa Durruelli Resort is a fantastic hotel for a relaxing stay on Ischia. The hotel has great facilities, is clean and well located. You can book the Spa in private slots, meaning you will be able to enjoy it with out having to wait or share the facilities. From the waiting staff to the reception, service is very good and friendly. We were helped by Lorenzo who went above and beyond to facilitate our stay.

IsraelThe only thing I didn't like was the extra payment on some dishes in the breakfast. Its not a cheap hotel, and I think the price should cover it.
My best choice of my trip!! The hotel is very intimate, only 30 rooms. Boutique. Really Great staff, VERY helpful (Especially Lorenzo, both of them 😃). They even give me a chance to upgrade my room without charge. The pool, the spa, the breakfast were awesome. Over all - perfect

NorwayWe encountered some issues during checkout. The bill was messy and had errors, and when we asked for help to correct it, we were met with a very arrogant tone from one of the staff. This was disappointing after the otherwise excellent service we had experienced earlier.
We had the pleasure of spending a few days at this wonderful hotel, and overall, we would rate our experience very highly, with one notable exception. First and foremost, I must highlight the fantastic efforts of the waitstaff and kitchen team. Every meal I had was a culinary delight, thanks to their attention to detail and friendly approach. Furthermore, the two young gentlemen at the reception desk were truly accommodating and professional. They greeted us with a smile and were quick to assist with any questions or requests we had. At the beauty center, we was greeted by the cheerful ladies who really knew how to pamper guests. I had a wonderful pedicure experience with them, and the atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. However, we encountered some issues during checkout. The bill was messy and had errors, and when we asked for help to correct it, we were met with a very arrogant tone from one of the staff. This was disappointing after the otherwise excellent service we had experienced earlier. Overall, if not for the checkout experience, I would rate this stay a perfect 10. The exceptional service from most of the staff truly made my visit memorable and enjoyable. I hope the management can address the issues encountered during checkout to ensure future guests have a flawless experience from start to finish.

ItalyThe pool jets made loud noises.
Both Lorenzos (Lorenzi) were amazingly helpful. The rooftop view was spectacular! We got a free upgrade with one room and we’re next door to each other. The terrace off our room was perfect for us to socialize. Breakfast was delicious. Spa was quaint and all to ourselves for 45 minutes. Book early! We could walk everywhere to access shops and restaurants.

IsraelThey have a strange issue with the towels as for the spa they ask extra for towel. So at the end you receive only 1 towel per person even if you used to use more.

Czech RepublicAt times I heard the noisy neighbors at night speaking on their phones.
The breakfast food was fresh and tasty! Even homemade jams and honey! The whole place is nice and clean, I appreciated the private spa time. Good walking distance from the Porto or the bus stop. Staff was friendly and kind.

GermanyThere is not much to dislike about the hotel but if we have to nitpick we have to say that the walls of the room were rather thin. The family next door has a child, they constantly had the television on and we could hear cartoon playing in the background until late at night and early in the morning.
The hotel provided impeccable service. All staff members were extremely polite, they tried to fulfill your wishes and engage us. The breakfast is also something we look forward to everyday. As we stayed in the hotel during non-peak season, we did not pay exorbitant rates and the hotel was amazing for what we paid for. We also enjoyed the 45-min complementary spa/pool time. We felt relaxed and energized after this stay.

BelgiumThe staff is kind and always available but they should be a bit more organized (mostly when it comes with booking time in the wellness area). Since the time slots are taken quickly, I strongly recommend to book time in the SPA well in advance! It would also be amazing to receive clearer information on how the SPA works, and eventually have a little tour of the wellness area to have an idea of how it works before going there.
The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff is nice and available. We also tried the restaurant of the hotel which is pricey but excellent (super recommended!!).

United States of AmericaAmericans like information and context. The spa facilities and treatment options were confusing and it would have been nice to see instructions, etc. online - for example, Americans, in general do not know the term “Turkish bath” and I did not take my reading glasses into the spa area, therefore, the instructions were difficult to read.

LebanonAC in the room is very cold or very hot, it would have been better to control the AC from the room. You cannot control the AC from the room, you need to go to the reception in order to to request a higher or a lower temperature. Breakfast is not really rich, it is very basic and it is not a buffet which was a bit of a turn off for us.
The room, the pool and the entire hotel is very good and welcoming, we had a nice stay there. The pool is very good and clean, room is clean and welcoming. location of the hotel is also great. Staff are very welcoming and helpful.
