The hotel needs some renovation but overall it's good value for money

The breakfast was average and the hotel is in need of a refurbishment. The decor is very old fashioned.

The hotel is situated right on the lake with beautiful views. We booked a junior suite which was very large and had two balconies.

The breakfast could have be improved, but overall It was good.

What a beautiful old italian style hotel. We really loved the beautiful architecture of the building. I saw on some reviews that people said it was dated, which I can understand to a point, but we really loved the old italian style. I know that Hilton will be taking over management of the hotel and reopening it in 2026 after this season is over, but I really hope they decide to keep the original features. All the staff were really friendly, we got a free upgrade to a junior suite which was a really lovely surprise.

The bathrooms and rooms are a little old fashioned and not very generous.

Beautiful location with an amazing terrace to sunbathe and direct easy access to the lake for swimming. Old fashioned hotel with very large communal spaces and ling corridors - full of charm.

The Hotel is very large and spreads out laterally along Lake Garda. We first got a room a long walk from the main dining room and breakfast area. When I told them I had just had a knee replacement. They immediately moved me to a room very close in. Both rooms had wonderful balconies looking at the Lake, but our final room was so very much easier for me.

Everything was lovely.

The view of Lake Garda from our room's balcony was exceptional. Hotel's gracious and voluminous spaces (both indoor and outdoor) gave a feeling of expansiveness and relaxation.

It is well past it´s hayday, absolute minimum effort these days. Hotel interior very badly looked after and the hotel looks like its closing. The staff were so unfreindly and unhelpful that it was almost funny, just couldnt be bothered. Took us 40 minutes to get a drink in the bar which was almost empty. By the pool and at the pool bar they serve you ridiculously expensive drinks in paper Oeosi Max glasses and all the tables were dirty. We ordered Parma ham with Melon and it was inedible, didnt think that would be possible. Such a shame in those surroundings and such a historic and beautiful building. Seems like management just don´t have a clue. Would still go back just because of the location and exterior (apart frim the bars)

Amazing location, beautiful surroundings. Outside area and pool very clean and good all round (apart from the bars, due to what seemed to be very lazy and fed up staff). Great restaurants just a couple of minutes away. Good breakfast (breakfast staff were very freindly). Large room and bathroom with a balcony with breathtaking views over Garda.

The hotel is very tired and, in some cases, shabby. I understand the hotel has been bought and is going to be closed for some time for refurbishment.

The breakfast was fine, buffet as usual. No hot food prepared except scrambled eggs and ham. Lovely to sit outside by the lake eating breakfast.

Hot tub wasn’t hot. Coffee was mediocre at best. Expensive for a 4 star hotel.

The facilities feel a bit shabby. renovation wouldn’t harm. Also there was no sound isolation in the room whatsoever. I could hear every move of the neighbors and their quiet chatting on their balcony even with the windows closed in my room.

The location is good. Just steps away from the town and from the ferry station. A very charming area outside with beautiful vegetation and right on the lake.

The staff was really friendly, but especially in the restaurant they didn’t have a clue what they were doing. The music during breakfast was completely out of style with the ambiance. Also during the evenings there was a lot of loud music from neighboring venues.

The fantastic location and the chique old fashioned design. Nice views from the balcony.

Some of the younger female staff could smile a little bit more and the breakfast was good enough, but not fantastic. The young guy in the reception was very welcoming😊

Just loved the faded glam! Please do not change the vibe! The details are amazing! The old wooden floors, panels, lamps, furniture and garden makes it all so special! Our suite was so spacious and with a large balcony from where you could se the piazza and the lake.

Do not, under any circumstances, eat dinner at the hotel restaurant. We made this mistake on our first night and it was by far the worst meal we had in Europe (to the tune of 45euro/person). The food was all the same consistency (across many different entrees) and was woefully bland.

The location of the hotel is perfect and my family spent the bulk of our time (3 nights total) swimming in the lake and eating at the nearby restaurants. The lake was perfect.

There are no facilities in your room for coffee or tea, if you want a hot drink in room it’s chargeable. Given the price of a room this I find this unacceptable.
