Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaBreakfast is at a nearby restaurant and only includes one coffee and one croissant. Room is on the small size category and the stairs are steep.
Location and cleanliness were excellent. We were able to continue visiting the city on the day of our check out thanks to the fact that they were able to graciously keep our luggage until the afternoon of our departure. Even though all communications were via Whatsup (not in person), Francesco was always available and ready to help.

Romania-Room is ok for 1 pers, but small for 2; considering the price we paid it was ok though. -There was a bit of mold on the wall facing outside and in the AC. Host should check and do something about it before it becomes an issue.
-Breakfast was included (1 croissant + 1 cappuccino per pers) at a bakery very close to the b&b; -Price was good -Host is very friendly and gave us tips on where to eat; -Nice shower; -Cleaning was done daily and towels changed. -location: 5 min walking to the train station, 10-15 mins walk to center

PortugalThe room was very small, and there were no mosquito nets in the window. My night table was a bit dusty, and they never cleaned it.
The location was very good, and the breakfast very practical.

ItalyThe room is very small and there is almost no natural light so it's a good place for a short stay but I would not recommend it for long stays.
Very good location, very helpful host and the place was clean and tidy.

CanadaThe bathroom, meaning the flush toilet. It was a struggle every time. The rest of the bathroom was great but the flush toilet, ouf!
I liked that once you closed the door and was ready to sleep, it was completely black. Waking up, still pitch black. The blinded windows were so great. We had an amazing host, made us feel welcomed and there even if we never got to see him.

AustraliaThe bed. Two singles put together but the base kept coming undone from the second single and we’d have to keep fixing it.
Great location, wonderful host and a very clean accomodation. The host even made the effort to send us some suggestions on where to go which was so kind of him. Overall a great place to stay.

BelgiumThe bathroom was a bit narrow between the shower and sink but the shower head was a joy to use.
The host with the most charm in Florence! Dionisio makes you feel welcome to his city. The rooms are new and have ac (a must during summer). The location is just perfect, 6min walking distance from the train station and 15 from the city center. Dioniso welcomed me in perfect English and we quickly switched to Spanish as he also speaks it perfectamente! He shared with us his fave spots to eat in town & the brekafast formula is a taste of Italian lifestyle. You cross the street to a local bakery/café and have your pastry and cappuccino either at the bar (as the locals do) or if you are lucky, on the terrace. Plus points: loads of restaurants nearby, one or two laundromats nearby, plenty mini markets & garages. I highly recommend this charming B&B !

United KingdomA certain level of noise from street / restaurant just downstairs, as well as other guests coming in and out of the establishment / their own rooms, but thankfully should still be fine for a good night sleep - for difficult sleepers, earplugs will do the job.
Excellent location close to Florence SMN Station for our entry from Pisa, Bus Station for a day trip in Siena, Tram Stop to Airport, all tourists attractions, as well as patisseries/restaurants/bars, etc. Very responsive host who also provided info and tips - the one of booking restaurant on The Fork App was particularly useful, as there could be significant discounts, not to mention we would have to make reservation on the phone struggling to make the Italian understand English otherwise. Lastly, the price included breakfast coffee+viennoiserie at the nearby patisserie, which happens to be a very good quality one.

FinlandWalls were super thin and every time someone goes in or out you can hear it clearly, so not the best place if you are not deep sleeper. Also bed was quite unconfortable but ok for few nights.
Location is great, the host super friendly and easy to communicate with. Basic room with own bathroom. Great place to stay few nights!

United States of AmericaI wish the room was a tad bigger, but the closet had hangers and storage to keep our luggage so we could make room. We stayed in room 2 and we did have the window with the automatic light that would occasionally turn on which I would say was my only complaint.
I LOVED how it was so close to the train station. Francesco was truly the best by giving us so many wonderful recommendations to explore the city. He let us put our bags too in the property before our arrival time which was so helpful!

SingaporeRoom is quite small, with limited space to open up luggage and move around. Lack of basic pantry stuff like a kettle.
Room and facilities were very clean, with frequent room cleaning services arranged by the owner. Owner also assisted us with restaurant reservations and was quick to reply any questions regarding checking in / out. Aircon and bathing facilities work perfectly.

United KingdomThere were no big problems at all, it was an excellent stay. Some minor things to be aware of: the address on Google Maps is about 50 m from the actual site, although still on the same road so it is very easy to find; if you want the breakfast you need to mention it in advance, we weren't aware of this which caused some confusion, however the owner was exceedingly nice and sorted everything out for us.
Amazing location, surrounded by excellent places to see and to eat at. The owner was also very obliging when offering recommendations for the nearby area. We will most likely be returning here if we ever stay in Florence again and I will definitely recomend it to any friends that travel to Florence.
