Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsToilet seat moved while sitting on it. Can be noisy outside but window blocked out most of the noise.
Great location, the included breakfast was a great plus. Host was lovely. We were surprised at how big the room was, and it was also decorated nicely.

United States of AmericaThe beds are pretty uncomfortable bc they are box spring, but honestly not a huge issue for me and for the price and everything else it provides it definitely was not a problem!
B&B Ca’Dor has an excellent location! We also really enjoyed the rustic feel of the rooms. Ester was so fabulous and helpful during our stay. She explained public transportation and the island to us when we checked in and gave us recommendations of things to do and places to eat. This is our 5th city on our Europe trek and this was our favorite place we stayed. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it!

AustraliaRoom 3 was above two bars/restaurants in a (couldersack), so didn't get much sleep before 12am every night once those bars/restaurants closed . Not a big deal but for any early risers it was a bit annoying.

PolandVacation time was too short as always
1. Perfect and secure location - 10/15 mins from Piazza di Marco. Hidden from the main turist roads, so it is also more quiet there. 2. Very nice warm and helpfull hosts. On the first day we got all best directions and reccommendations where to go, how to get there and what to see + what is not worth loosing time for. Everything written on paper and shown on the map at BnB. 3. Room tidied up everyday 4. Italian breakfast + coffee/ tea/ juices <3 (for those who don't know Italian breakfast contains sweet things like croissants. toasts, jam etc, if you need to eat meat, cheese etc maybe Italy is not for you :p, still there is a fridge in the kitchen available for the guests to store and prepare ur own meals). 5. Super old antique furnitures - for some people it could be disadvantage but I LOVE old antique furnitures. It adds a great vibe to the place which is Venice. I recommend this place - especially for those who does not want to waste time driving/ swimming to the center of Venice everyday. Its convenient and it has all the necessary stuff for a place to sleep and recover in between the sightseeing + the Hosts are lovely smiling people which is a great plus. Me and my wife, we had a great time in Venice.

LatviaThe chair was a bit broke and fix with scotch tape. The view from the window was great, but the blinds, which were closed, had a do not touch note taped to them.
Location and atmosphere was amazing. In room everything what needed. Easy to find and notes for the key and everything else was easy to understand.

United KingdomCame back to the window left open one evening and lots of mosquitos came in, mosquito nets would be helpful. Lots of noise from the bar outside til early hours made it very difficult to sleep. Bed was very loud and would wake you up if you moved in the night.
Lovely decor in the room. Polite and helpful host. Continental breakfast each morning was appreciated. Location is great, just away from crowds but central. We had the external private bathroom, which is outside of the room but you have your own key to access it, so it's not shared with other guests.

AustraliaStarting to be a bit tired. Toilet seat was wobbly and tap adjusted the wrong way in the shower. Bedside light on one side needs to be fixed.. Would have been a real bonus if the washing machine worked ( although they did not say there was a washing machine provided).
Great location. Communication was excellent and instructions for finding the b&b were good. Unfortunately we were given the wrong door code but it was quickly fixed. Basic breakfast and tea and coffee facilities provided. Good size room.

Breakfast was included in our room and offered cereal, toast and croissants. There is a coffee machine with good coffee. Everything is ready for self service. Cristina was lovely and very helpful with information about the water bus. The water bus stop in only 5 mins from the BnB. The water bus is easy to navigate and well signed so we used this method of transportation while in Venice. There is a lovely plaza in front of the BnB with a great restaurant called Spicy Puppa. The food and the service there was excellent. There is also a tapas bar in the plaza. And a blues bar in the next street. We loved our stay at BnB Ca’dor.

United KingdomWe wrongly believed that as the name was B&B Ca'dor, bed and breakfast would be part of the offer. We were offered a basic breakfast, which we were told was free ,but all was prepacked and nothing fresh. If you follow a gluten-free diet, there was nothing available.
The location is very good. it's easy to walk to all of the key areas of Venice. The property was clean and well kept. Directions received from the host were clear and easy to follow

United KingdomThe hotel was quite noisy as there was no soundproofing. The property is more like a shared flat, which wasn't ideal. On the bright side, it did have the perk of having its own ensuite bathroom.
The accommodation was in a convenient location. It made everything easily accessible. The receptionist was also super friendly and accommodating, which made the experience more enjoyable. Additionally, the facilities were always clean and well-maintained.
