The location of the flat may be challenging to access for those with disabilities (one must be able to traverse a couple flights of stairs and going to town requires walking up or down steep hills at times). That said, the stairs were generous in their width and had railings throughout.

First, there was excellent communication via WhatsApp prior to arrival. Then, Cety met us upon arrival-she was so friendly and helpful. I had a bit of a challenge parking after several tries. Seeing my difficulties, Cety offered to help and parked the car for me. The flat is beyond beautiful—more of a luxury getaway—better than expensive hotels in the area. It had air conditioning (much needed) and an expansive large balcony. The kids (well young adults to give them credit) appreciated the satellite tv, which allowed them to see some of the Olympic Games. Everything is thoughtfully appointed, orderly, and super clean. Finally—I’m saving the best for last—the beauty of the view will make you gasp. It is a relatively short (15 min) walk to the old downtown or to the gondolas and just 5 minutes to a cute grocery store. Coffee (an espresso-type) with machine are provided. We also received a welcome cake, bottle of Prosecco and refrigerated water (they were all complementary).

We didn’t realise that the actual apartment had 4 flights of stairs to get to it and there is quite a steep hill to get to the main road, although it’s only a short walk uphill my 73 year old mum did struggle slightly.

The location was perfect, beds were very comfortable. The hosts communicated with us every day making sure our stay was going well. The apartment is very secure. Waking up to the beautiful scenery every day was so uplifting. Cetty helped us by communicating to our taxi driver as he was finding it difficult to find the apartment ( thank you Cetty) and met us at the apartment to welcome us.

Our stay at this apartment was nothing short of exceptional. The space itself is a true standout, offering ample room, pristine cleanliness, and a well-equipped environment that catered to all our needs. From the moment we booked, the communication with our hosts, Patrix and Cetty, was seamless. Cetty, who handled our check-in and check-out, was remarkably welcoming and efficient, making us feel right at home. One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the apartment's stunning view. It provided a beautiful backdrop to our mornings and evenings, adding a special touch to our experience. Despite its peaceful location, the apartment is conveniently situated just a 10-15 minute walk from the city center and shops. Even with a 3-year-old in tow, we found the walk manageable and enjoyable. Although we visited at the turn of February and March when it was a bit cold inside, the apartment was equipped with plenty of heaters and air conditioners to keep us warm. It's worth noting that the property is best accessed by car, and investing in the parking for 20 euros a day is advisable for optimal convenience because you can't park in the street. Additionally, be aware that check-ins after 8 PM come with an extra fee of 20 euros. Additionally, for those looking to explore the local beaches, reaching them by car or via the nearby funicular (whose upper station is within walking distance from the apartment) is the best option. However, it's worth noting that during our off-season visit, the funicular was not operational due to maintenance work. Overall, our time here was a delightful experience. The combination of the apartment's features, the exceptional views, and the outstanding hospitality from Patrix and Cetty made our visit truly memorable. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a special getaway, and we eagerly anticipate our return.

We liked everything.

A great place to relax with a wonderful view of Taormina and the sea. It lies about 15 minutes walk from the centre. The apartment is well equipped with all the necessary things and even more. Patrix and Cetty are very communicative, kind and eager to help. We were greeted with wine and a delicious cake and at the check-out I received a small thing as a souvenir - it was very nice. The stay with them was special, we enjoyed it very much and it was a pity to leave. It is worth mentioning that in the same apartment there is an additional separate room with a double bed, mini bar, bathroom and balcony available for rent.

Nice views to the sea and the town. Comfortable rooms and beds. All what you need is available in the kitchen. Coffee, Champagner, water ….very nice host

Host giving us tips for restaurants and constantly checking in on us to see if we required anything. Such a big apartment with exceptional views !! The views from all three balconies are incredible, the whole apartment is spacious, beautifully decorated and so comfortable. The beds are comfortable, bathroom is modern and air-conditioning works well. The kitchen has everything you need including a washing machine that works perfectly. We were greeted with coffee/tea and cake and bubbles! It is a nice walk into town, there are grocery shops nearby, and it was the perfect place to spend a week in Taormina. The staff, Patrix and Cetty were amazing, so helpful, thoughtful and kind. Maison belle Vue is our very favourite holiday home to stay in, anywhere in the world, 😁 🌍 we will return soon ❤️

a little hard to get to the accommodations, but otherwise we couldn’t have had the amazing view. keep in mind that in Taormina you have to climb a lot.

We felt very welcome by the owner, Patrix, and Cetty, the manager. The accommodations had cake and welcome champagne. The apartment was well equipped with a washing machine. Very spacious with a living room, dining room, 2 bedrooms and kitchen. The balconies were beautiful!!!! At first, we were concerned we were too far from the center of town. After walking a couple times, we appreciated the exercise and ate without guilt. Loved the walk. Felt like we were part of the neighborhood. Definitely hope we can return to this property! Miss being there. Should have stayed longer!

the location is a bit far from the center. we did not rent a car so we had to walk 10 minutes every time but it’s not that bad . and if you come with a car it’s not a problem.

patrix and cetti was amazing!!!! they took care of all our needs! the apartment is well equipped, amazing view from the balcony, clean, comfortable. a huge recommendation!
