Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe drive up from Lezzeno is hair-raising, and it's not easy to just slip into town: you need to plan your arrivals and departures.
The views are amazing, and Federico and Alarico were excellent hosts. Dinner was lovely, and the surroundings are so picturesque. We were really made to feel welcome.

United States of AmericaThere were some stray ants we discovered one afternoon but they disappeared the next morning (but we only stayed 2 nights.) The room is also a bit humid. Shower is a bit small and the water pressure can vary greatly (though at max is perfectly fine.)
Fantastic view - couldn't have asked for a better one! Stayed in a room with a balcony and lake view, and you can see the view from pretty much everywhere else. Fairly easy to get to Lezzeno by C30 bus, which is 3.90 euro per person from Como. (It's also a thrilling experience to ride the bus along the narrow and winding streets along the lake. The drivers are very competent.) You get off at the Lezzeno - Bivia per Villa no. 10 stop and Federico picks you up in a "shuttle" which is just his car for a short ride up the mountain, followed by a short and pleasant walk through the woods to get to the farm. If you ask, they will also try to accomodate any other trips up and down the mountain to get to the bus stop, although the walk up the mountain has a great view! The donkey is so cute but he does tend to bray at around 8am (but just in time for breakfast, 8-9:30am.) Bed was firm and not hard. Breakfast is good with a decent number of options! We also tried dinner, which was also delicious and a reasonable price. Overall, Alarico and Federico were incredibly accomodating and helpful!!

New ZealandWalk to/from town was more challenging than expected, particularly in bad weather as shorter option is a steep dirt track. Thin walls in room meant we could hear neighbours late at night.
Incredible views, fantastic food at the on site restaurant, spacious room, good communication with hosts.

SpainThe shuttle is not always available and the walk is impossible to make it if you have some luggage. You are stuck to walk there or stay there until the shuttle is available.
Nice views!

NetherlandsNot so much a place if you like to sleep in. As it’s quite small and close quarters you can hear everything from the front of the house and also in the rooms next to you. Don’t count on a hearty breakfast, there’s some fruit, coffee & granola that’s served.
We had a great time at this b&b, it’s located a bit more out of town, and you do have to take a small hike but it’s worth it. The view is incredible & the staff is very friendly. There’s a donkey named Gina that walks around which gives you the farm feeling. We had dinner there on our first night, which was really delicious locally sourced food.

United KingdomInstructions were unclear on where to park for collection - we had parked up and then had to drive again to another location to be collected. Walls quite thin so you can hear showers etc from next room.
Nice food in restaurant and excellent view of the lake. Other reviews had complained about the breakfast being basic, but I really liked it. It was really nice to sit on the balcony to the bedroom and look over the sunset on Lake Como.

United KingdomOnly slight negative is the walk. Very steep hill and probably not suitable for young children or people who struggle to do long walks However, we loved it and were rewarded with a fantastic view of the lake
Fantastic little family run hotel. Gorgeous view and really helpful staff. Helped us a lot with organising our day to see the villas and public transport. Would highly recommend!

IndiaThe breakfast, the inaccessibility to the road.
Amazing hospitality by Federico and his team. It was very easy to communicate with them and they arranged the pickup from the bus stop to the hotel. It's an adventure nevertheless to get there and may not be for everyone, but we really enjoyed it. The lake views from the rooms are amazing. The dinner was perfect for us and very tasty. The breakfast was very basic and could've been skipped. All in all, great place to stay, if you're ok to climb up a hill to get a splendid view.

United KingdomBreakfast is essential and could be much better with little improvement. Same for the rooms
Perfect for guests in good physical condition as it does require walking in steepy and muddy paths or cobblestone. It’s immersed in the nature and enjoy a stunning lake view. It’s quite an adventure to get there which in our case made our trip different and funny.

United KingdomOnly thing I’d say is it is quite a trek to get up there if you pop into the town! However is expected when you can get such great views of the lake and mountains- definitely worth it.
The setting of the farm is absolutely stunning, the view from our balcony was great. The food was delicious and the breakfast was just what we needed. Really nice that it’s so close to bellagio, had a great day trip there and the bus ran frequently and in the night which was useful!

GermanyThe agrisurismo is situated a bit uphill with the most beautiful view over the Lago Di Como.. The house is run by a family, very nice reception and very accomodating. There is a shuttle service to go from/into the village, as the cobblestone street with a steep slope makes it difficult to be reached (but that's definitely worth it for the view). Breakfast was good and dinner is served as well in the restaurant of the house.
