The hotel is next to the mosque, so there will be some noise during the day and at 5am.

It is a really pretty hotel! We were welcomed with an iced tea and a fruit platter. The room smelled really good and was very clean. We never had such a clean hotel room during our whole trip in Indonesia! The breakfast is delicious. Free WiFi that works really well. There were some cheap and good warungs/shops at a 1 minute walk.

Great location. Walking distance to the main front but sat behind the noise so quiet at night. Breakfast was great and the staff were very welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable. A fantastic stay. Thank you for the kind gift when we left. Would stay here again.

The property is very close to the mosque which resulted in a lot of noise quite often. However, this is the case on the whole island so can’t be helped. The shower was lovely and warm but it took time for the water to drain so the bathroom was very wet each day.

The location was excellent, we could walk everywhere. The pool was great, very clean. The staff were excellent. They were very helpful and even gave us free snorkels to use. The rooms were cleaned every day to a very high standard.

The bed was too hard for me and I had strong back pain the next morning. But everyone has different preferences so it might not disturb someone else.

Everything was perfect. We could move in already at noon and had enough time to settle. Staff was brilliant, very friendly. Welcome drink and breakfast was lovely. Would recommend it!

Tip - You can hear the prayers from the Mosque at certain times of the day but this is common around the whole island. Use silicone earplugs and you will sleep right through it! :)

Quiet location with a relaxing atmosphere yet only a short walk away from the busy area of Gili T. The rooms are lovely with a great bathroom. Housekeeping was consistent and our room was serviced every day including new towels. The pool area is clean and we very much looked forward to our breakfast every morning!! Our favourite part of the stay has been the staff who have been incredible and very friendly. We will be recommending Green Banana to our friends!

The nearby located mosk starts their morning prayers at 5:00 am. However, the hotel offers earplugs, which help a lot. Also, prayers can be heard clearly on the whole island, so it doesn’t really matter where you stay, just use your earplugs.

We stayed 5 nights at the Green Banana in Gili Trawangan. Aesthetically, this hotel is a beauty. They offer a good variety in breakfast. Rooms are spacious and foreseen of well functioning aircon. The personnel is very kind, helpful and the hotel is located at only 150m of the main road of Gili T and approximately 300m of “Turtle point”, where you can do some turtle spotting. The surrounding area is very peaceful, especially at night, which is important on this island. Bike rental is located just at 100m of the hotel.

The hotel is right on the back of a big mosque so we heard the call to prayer everyday at 5Am for about 20-30 mins. They provide ear buds for noise cancelation, but you can still hear the mosque.

Location is amazing, very close to the main street. The room is confortable and well decorated. Staff is very friendly. The breakfast is also good.

The calls to prayer from the mosque are quite loud and will wake you up at 6am. WiFi wasn’t as consistent as I would have liked and I struggled with just audio calls from inside my room.

Extremely kind staff - they arranged my transportation off the island for me and even followed my driver by bike to the ferry to make sure I was properly sorted. Cleanest room I’ve had in all of Indonesia. Nice shower and toiletries provided, nice breakfast, and felt safe as a solo woman.
