The Gatsby really needs better signage. I did get lost badly on my first day, but that's not really anyone's fault. The fact that a mid priced place in on the main road leads to traffic sounds outside, but this wasn't an issue inside my airconditioned room.

Staying in Bali for a workshop - no fun drinks surfing etc - I spent a greater amount of time sitting outside, in the big front verandah and by the pool than most folks. Thus I spent longer than usual (in work breaks) speaking to the staff. They were really nice people and helpful in everything really. The Star of the show at the Gatsby is the Manager Jerry. He is an amazing person When I had to go to the clinic for heart tablets, he insisted on taking me and interpreting. On my last free afternoon he took me out to see all the sights. Great ocean views, Axe throwing! and it was great. Take the time to talk to him and you'll be rewarded in Balinese hospitality.

I didn’t have hot water for the first night and didn’t have any tea or coffee facilities in the room, only a kettle but no cups or coffee.

Great stay, good value for money. Right in the middle of Uluwatu and easy to access everywhere. Staff were friendly and the 2 resident dogs are cute and welcoming

No signage out the front makes it difficult to find when arriving at night. Fake turf around the pool gets very hot.

Very nice rooms, clean, good air-conditioning, and a very good shower. Felt very safe and much nicer than I expected and I extended my stay. Some great cafes and restaurants nearby too.

Staff were so lovely and made sure I had a great stay. Ended up extending my stay twice and they managed to keep me in the same room too so I didn't have to move which was fab :) The location was absolutely perfect, couldn't have been in a better spot to reach restaurants, beaches & cafes in Uluwatu. Wifi worked really well and was fast so I was able to hop on a couple of calls while I was here. Would 100% stay again.

The pool could be cleaner

The bed is super comfortable, shower is separate so not everything will be wet, the room is cosy and clean. The location is spot on in the middle of everything and the shared pool is great to chill on a hot day.

Kitchen was very dirty, halls also did not seem to be cleaned. The room was clean enough. The lobby was unfinished and there's not much signage with which to find the place.

Clean, modern, cute interior. Water available in the common kitchen. Nice pool, beautiful hotel area although under renovation. Friendly staff. The location is quite good- close to good restaurants. Beach is about 25 by walking, although walking in Bali is a bit difficult sometimes.

Clean room with good beds, this was the first hotel we stayed at after a day and a half of travelling so it was nice to have a comfortable clean room we could relax in. Great location as there are 2 cafes next door and across the street with great coffee and a handful of restaurants within walking distance. Padangpadang beach is within walking distance or a short bike ride away. Pool area was great to lay out and there is a shared kitchen with basic amenities if you want to cook at home too.

The drain for the shower wasn't great, meaning the shower room would flood, but on the grand scheme of things, the room was still great.

The room was clean, modern and comfortable with great air con. The pool was fab and there was a large and cool hangout area with a pool table. It was walking distance to the main strip, but also very close to 4 excellent restaurants - ola, rolling fork, sugar Rock and Warung Local - all were brilliant!!!
