Lovely little house in the heart of beautiful Megalochori. The villa is a short walk from restaurants and shops and has beautiful views to the sea from the roof terrace.

It’s all good?

Villa Orpheus was beautifully presented in the middle of a traditional village. It was spacious, cool and smart. The plunge pool is amazing and the outside spaces are exceptional. The host, Valentini, was so very welcoming and helpful. She was rightly proud to present this cave house and this charming village.

We had a fantastic honeymoon at Villa Orpheus and our host, Valentini, could not have been more friendly and accommodating. The villa is in a great position on Santorini in a lovely quiet village with beautiful views from the upper balcony. There is also a private courtyard downstairs where we often had breakfast and it was great to have the plunge pool to cool off later in the day. The villa is stylish and clean with everything you could need including AC and was regularly cleaned throughout our stay.

The bathroom floors get wet quite easily but it wan’t a huge burden, we just used a spare towel to dry up.

Lovely quiet location tucked away down some little streets. The outdoor terrace areas were beautiful. Megalokhori is a hidden gem in santorini so this property was great value for money.

Didn't dislike anything.

Loved the quaint authenticity of the property in its original setting. It had everything we needed to enjoy the 5 days we stayed there and Valentini (the owner) was lovely and very helpful throughout.

The Villa was gorgeous, clean and stylishly decorated. The owner is wonderful, very helpful, friendly, helped organize attractions and everything we asked. Beautiful location. We are going back next year. I can"t imagine holiday in another place. I recommend it with all my heart. You won't want to come back from there.

Lovely house in a lovely village. you are in the middle of the island. we contacted Valentini to have easy access. the house is very clean. you had everything you needed for the stay. the view from the terrace is wonderful.

Everything about our stay was exceptional! From the initial correspondence, the meet and greet, the gorgeous property and amenities and the exceptional service throughout or stay. Our host went above and beyond to ensure we had the perfect holiday.

We did have a problem with the toilet leaking but this was dealt with very promptly by the host, and was a minor inconvenience.

Valentini is one of the best host I've ever had. She was extremely nice with us and she suggested some great places. The house is dreamy and so comfortable. The position is perfect because it is halfway to all the major attractions! So great, thank you a lot.

It was great 7*. Everything was perfect, comfy beds, we have slept better than home. The kitchen is very well equipped, the bedrooms, bathrooms are big, hot water, shampoo, soaps. It is very intimate and quiet location. The apartment is very beautiful decorated, and designed, The jacuzzi was great, hot water. The parking is 7 min away, by step. Besides the fact that this Villa is an amazing place to stay we had tips and help from Vallentini that made our holiday unforgettable. She gave us tips where to go and where to eat and she even managed to find us a sunset boat trip when everything was already sold out on the internet. She also booked a table at a restaurant for a dinner with a view of sunset at the first row. Our stay in Santorini was amazing because we choosed this villa. Strongly recommend to stay at this villa.

when the key is inside and we closed the door (with our telephones inside), we had to go to a restaurant to call the owner to open the door. although she had to come from quite far and she had warned us to leave the key at the outer side of the door, she still was very kind.

great house very near to the centre of a beautiful (traditional) village with a few restaurants, very nice! the house was bigger than we thought, it had even two places to sit outside: one near the pool (also private) and one one the roof, which was a great place to sit. the bedrooms had really nice atmosphere and good matrasses. there was a kitchen to be used. all together an amazing place to be!

A few things that can be improved are: -master shower drain did not work. After every shower there was a mini flood in the bathroom. Also not a lot of hot water. -construction next door. The outside patio was very dusty and not really useable since it was dirty. They did clean it mid week though. -The air filters are very noisy. These made it very hard to sleep. -We wasted alot of groceries because the fridge froze everything.

This property was fun to stay in because it was a cave experience. The property manager Valentini was exceptional. As we were gathering our surroundings the second day and weren’t familiar with the island she went out of her way to pick us up from the grocery store to bring us back. That was above and beyond service. It was also very safe and in a good location to get to Fira or Oio easily. It was also nice to have the convenience of a kitchen.
