Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NorwayI knew there is no pool, but the September weather was so warm I actually missed it. It’s not a complaint, but like many places, the air conditioning was not included and was quite a bit extra for daily use, €7 per day. I did not expect I will need it in September, but I did. But I do understand that with their low prices they had to charge for it, the electricity is expensive now.
The most striking feature here were the amazing people, very hospitable and helpful. Everything was very clean, the room was quite big and had a kitchenette. Good wi-fi, spacious parking, nice garden. Very good value for money. The option to pay for air con is like at the most hotels on the island in this price range, and it is better then higher price and no choice.

United KingdomOnly downside is the location being a little out of the way. The walk itself isn’t bad at all and is totally fine during the day. However being 2 girls it could be scary in the dark/late at night. To get to the hotel you walk down a back road which is quite low-key (there is probably a way around it though we just stuck to what we knew). on the second to last night we walked back to the hotel around 10:30-11pm and a man approached us with his *thing* out and didn’t leave us alone for a while. Nothing against the hotel itself, but just something to note if you are girls staying alone. We felt the area over all was safe until that happened. We are glad the man ended up leaving us alone but could’ve potentially turned to something worse if one of us were on our own.
Very good value for money! Option to pay for air con like most hotels on the island. We decided not to do this and it wasn’t tooo bad, but we were in September. Owners are absolutely lovely, even offered and gave us a lift with our suitcases when we were leaving (thank goodness because our cases were heavy lol).

United KingdomIt didn’t have a pool but we knew that before we booked so for us it wasn’t a deal breaker. Didn’t like is a bit strong. Would have been nice is better.
That it was in a quiet part of Faliraki but only a 10 minute stroll into the hubub. The owners were lovely people and happy to chat to us. It was clean and tidy and the choices for the continental breakfast were varied and plentiful.

FinlandVery clean, great staff. When booking take note, that AC and safetybox cost extra. Hotel located about 1 km away from Faliraki center, so it's very quiet and you'll get a good night sleep :) Staff is very friendly, would recommend asking them -and other locals too- for tips about places to visit etc.

GermanyIt was just bad to pay extra for the air condotioner..7 euros per day.. I didn't want that and it was really hot in my room. The last 2 days I used it because it was just to hot. Maybe it would be better to integrate the air conditioner price at the apartment. So everone can use it and knows the full price. So you should know that you have to pay extra for it.
Nice and little apartment! nothing special but it's enough and it was always clean :-) 15 minutes by feet and you are in faliraki city for eating or shopping and bus stations. The faliraki beach was also 15 minutes away. Breakfast was also enough and always fresh and I really liked. :-) I will miss Vera, she's such a good woman! She's the nicest person at the whole house, she made my breakfast earlier that I could go to my tours I booked. ( Because breakfast was always at 8 am) Vera was so nice ,lovely and friendly..a really good woman. Thank you for everything Vera :-)

United KingdomIt’s not a complaint as such, but like many places, the air conditioning was not included and was quite a bit extra for daily use, €7 per day. It was not hot enough that we needed it, but it’s an added extra to think about in the hottest months.
The location was a ten minute flat walk to supermarkets and the main strip, 15 minutes to the beach, but it was far enough away to be a peaceful, quiet location to relax at the apartment. The apartments overlook a field and hills - we saw a family of deer feeding there late at night, which was a lovely surprise. The apartments are not overlooked, so you can relax on your balcony with peace and privacy. It is a family-run business and they are always there to help; Harris, Vera and Mika (who cleans the rooms beautifully and changes the linen and towels every other day, thanks Mika - we appreciated all your hard work :) ) We stayed in a decent sized triple room, the shower room is small but functional, the room was big enough for three adults and had a small balcony overlooking the fields and Harris’s beautifully kept lawns. The place was quiet, it is not a party hotel, but it’s a good place if you want a basic, very clean and peaceful base from which to access Faliraki and the rest of the island.

PolandWe were very very pleased with our stay. The owners are wonderful, bighearted people. They are very helpful and generous. It was great chatting with them. The man who welcomed us speaks excellent English. His wife and daughter are just lovely and took great care of us. The rooms were cleaned thoroughly every day. It was nice to come back to a fresh room every evening. Continental style breakfasts were very generous. There were a lot of different products to choose from, such as bread, buns, ham, cheese, boiled eggs, jams, vegetables, fruits, coffee, tea and sweets for dessert. On our last day, the owners even let us print our flight tickets, which was very kind of them. Thank you for your hospitality! Some other comments mention that you have to pay extra for air-conditioning and it is true. It was a little strange to me, but we spent our days sightseeing, snorkeling and swimming, so we did not care much for it anyway.

Very calm, clean place. Away from the noisy road and the center, you need to walk to the sea, but it's useful. There is one pot, one frying pan, cups and several plates, a corkscrew, an electric stove. Thank you, staff of Vera studio for your hospitality, as family.

PolandVery lovely for that price! Cozy atmosphere. The owners were really friendly and also let us buy drinkable water for cheap so we didn't have to carry it ourselves. It's not in the town centre so our stay was really quiet and comfortable, but also not really far from the beach (~15 minutes of slow walk).

Room was very clean, towels were changed every second day which was very nice. The couple that runs the hotel is one of the most amazing people I've met. Breakfast was amazing! Nice localization, only 10-15 minutes to town, but hotel was in quiet area. Sometimes we heard music from town, but it was funny and not disturbing. We will definitely come back!
