From the warm greetings upon arrival to the care taken by the owner to make the visit comfortable Theodora Suites deserves more than 10 stars.The location is prime with 180 degree beautiful views of the ocean and sunset from private balcony of the room. The private outdoor hot tub is designed with Jakuzzi which add to the overall experience of your stay. I am looking forward to several return trips in the future.

The owner and the cleaning lady were nice, but the other hotel staff that took care of luggage was not. We were told that we can check out at 11, and the luggage staff can help us to carry them to our car (saw a lot of hotels in Santorini offer this too). On the check out day, the guy knocked our door at 10:50 to ask us leave NOW I asked its not 11 yet if we can get 10-15 more minutes he said no because he’s booked with another guest at 11:10. I said then we don’t need the help we can do that ourselves. He left, knocked on door again at 11:20 with a rude voice and said “Get out”, I said ok I’m heading out right now and putting on shoes, he yelled again “Now! GO! Need to clean up the room!”…I’m total speechless. Then I saw him helped another guest that’s supposed to book him at 11:10 but he waited them until 11:20 to carry their luggage. Didn’t expect to be yelled at and asked us to get out at a 4 star hotel. I don’t mind doing the luggage myself but I don’t understand why I needed to leave at that exact second when he showed up 10 minutes early but the fact was he could wait other guests but not us. Really disappointed to end our Santorini trip like this.

Place was clean, bed was comfortable. It was nice to have a hot tub outside when it got cooler at night. Saw other hotels got complains about the water inside the hot tub was dirty and got bugs, this hotel did a step forward to cover it with a plastic shield at all time so water was clean. Breakfast was okay just about average. It got good lightings inside the room so wasn’t dark like other cave hotels so it was nice too.

The air conditioner was not cold on the first day, so the whole night seemed to sleep in a steaming room. Even though the woner asked someone to fix it on the next day morning, I still think it should not be happened with this kind of price.

Even if the hot tub was not pretty hot, the temperature was nice for me. Enjoy the sunset with wine, hot tub, and my beautiful wife.

Probably a little extra privacy with the spa and balcony area would be good and the outdoor table being in a spot to enjoy the view for breakfast as table is behind pillars

Robes should be provided, the doorstop was directly in front of the breaker panel that was used everyday for the hot water heater, I smacked my feet into it more than once. Very bad placement. Also was very offended with a sign at reception about the political views concerning the riding of donkeys. I found it to not be welcoming as I checked in. It felt very aggressive. As a girl raised for generations in the mountains I am aware of these wonderful pack animals and the service they are bred for and perform. I find it abusive to force people to climb all those stairs all the way back up rather than choosing to ride the donkeys. Please keep your animal activist views to yourself! Not everyone agrees with you!!

The location is on the side of the caldera, so it's a LITTLE bit strenuous to get to/from the room (if you can do two flights of stairs, you're probably fine here), but that's just Oia (say it as "EE-yah", not "oiya") and part of why the sunset view is so great. The hot tub isn't hot (I think that's common on the island to save electricity), but we didn't mind and it didn't take away from the amazing spot at all for us.

Can I move here? The hotel took care of travel to/from the port (you have to pay 50 euro for transportation, but skipping the craziness getting off a ferry and just finding your name takes the stress level from 8 to 1) and helped get luggage to/from the taxi. The location and view from the room were incredible, and the room itself was comfy, functional, and beautiful. They'll bring you a continental-style breakfast (delicious) with your choice of coffee / drink each morning. When the breeze comes through while you're looking over the caldera, you'll wish you never had to leave.

The steep steps for walking up and down to get into Oia town or up from the room mean you need to be able bodied to stay here as there are no lifts but our porter met us with the taxi into Oia from the airport and directed us safely down to the rooms whilst carrying all the bags!!!😀 We would love to stay here again because of the helpfulness of getting us a tour booked when no one in the town had a driver and also the pleasant attitude of the lady who brings breakfast, our porter, and the manager Odisseas but we suddenly realised that we have become a little old for the steps up and down!!!😂😂

The view of the Santorini sunset was right in front of us and we had the Juinior suite with outdoor jacuzzi. The small net curtains which were see through were much needed as the sun dropped right past the front of our room. It was excellent. I liked the clean towels everyday and the fresh continental breakfast delivered on the time we requested every day. Also the front patio area and table were mopped and cleaned from dust each morning before we even got up😀😀

The bed was very hard as the mattress had to be placed on a concrete slab. Santorini is slowly becoming just as expensive as Mykonos.

The location of the property allows you to see the perfect sunset from your room. You are also located quite close to most things in Oia. Breakfast was served daily and was delicious. The private pool was amazing!

The beds were quite hard and the bathroom quite small for tall people. If you like a dark room, bring a sleep mask as the front door lets in light from the outside.

The view was amazing and the location right in the middle of things. No matter what room you take, you will have an amazing view of the sunset that Oia is famous for. Breakfast was fresh and always delivered on time by the lovely staff member.
