We had an amazing couple of days at Sunhaus for our honeymoon. The apartment was really spacious, the kitchenette well equipped with everything you might need. There was everyday cleaning by a very lovely and friendly lady, which we didn't know was included but it was great. The location is perfect since you open the door and literally the beach is there, we could sit on the chairs outside and enjoy beautiful romantic sunrises, it was a dream!. There are a lot of restaurants nearby, markets and the bus stop just a few minutes walk. The communication with the owner was excellent and he also helped us to get a rental car for a very good price - standing the next day right on our doorstep! And we also would like to mention that the bed was very comfortable with nice feather pillows!!

Renovated historical building with amazing view on the beach and affordable prices. Located in the centre of Perissa, few steps away from the beach! Interior and exterior of the building is fully authentic, felt like staying at a museum. Don't miss this place, it is the GEM of Santorini! I would have a basic breakfast at this price.

The property was just in front of the beach with variety of stores and restaurants around. The room was spacious and there was also a nice veranda with a table and chez lonques chairs. My nephew who stayed in the sofita really enjoyed his private balcony. Eirini (the host) was very responsive and polite and the room was equipped with all the amenities needed. We had a great time and will sure come back again!

Perissa is such a perfect location, and Irina was the ultimate hostess. We felt like we were old friends or family members coming home for a weekend. The beautiful white homes were super clean and tidy - so peaceful and calm, just like the surroundings - just a few meters from the stunning volcanic black beach with amazing snorkeling. The home is tastefully decorated in a simple Bahaus style, uncluttered and streamlined. We had enough room to accomodate all four of us - a private room, a nice kitchen and a lovely living space. The patio had a magnificent view of the mountain, and an easy walk to the beach. Irina was such a wonderful guide and advisor for our stay - helping to find the timing for local attractions and coming by to make sure we had everything we needed. We can't wait to go back to stay with SunHaus again!

Only thing I can think of is the a/c in the master. Either we didn't know how to work it, or it wasn't functioning properly. The main air in the big room works very well, so it wasn't much of an issue.

The Sunhaus location was perfect. It was 50 feet from the beach, in the middle of a row of shops and restaurants in Perissa Beach. Having just come from a few days in Oia, this was a great change of pace to get a different feel for the other side of the island. Upon getting out of our taxi, we were met by one of our hosts, Sarah, who let us into our room immediately, even though we were a few hours before our check-in time. The place was great for a family of four, our two kids being 10 and 12. Our unit had a separate bedroom, a large family room with connected kitchen, full bath off the kitchen, with a loft above the family room with two beds for the kids. There is also a little balcony (unofficial I think) out of the loft that the kids enjoying climbing out on. I would police the younger ones as they could easily get into trouble, but my kids are old enough to not jump off roofs. It was great for looking at the night sky. After our first night, we did some laundry the following morning and met the owner. Without asking, he offered for us to use his personal drying rack and helped us to hang things up. Over the course of our stay, he gave me a tour of the property which has been around since the 1930s, even though it was quite modern and kept up very nicely. The property was used by the Greek Navy as a field hospital when there was a big earthquake on the island in the 1950s, and there is painted stone in the gate entryway indicating this. It was a really neat bit of history and the property was visited by the Greek Prime Minister back then. All-in-all, it was a great value, especially compared to our also incredible place in Oia - but with two kids - this was a better family vibe. Bonus tip - if like us, you have a flight out later in the day, you can rent a car in the village there at Romano's and drop it off at the airport. We did this and did some sightseeing on the rest of the island.

One small minus could be the second bedroom's quite warm temperature as it's higher and above the kitchen. But there is an aircon unit in the space (living room) so that solves it.

The apartment is very quiet, functional, beautifully decorated, a stone's throw from the beach but still very calm. Exactly where you want to be located. Two aircon units. The host is fantastic, very friendly and accommodating, great to talk to. We had an evening return flight and after a day on the beach we could shower and get changed at her adjacent house before our departure. Excellent, friendly, no-nonsense service.

Everything was good

First of all, i would like to thank sunhaus for helping us with pre-accommodation at last moment. Our flights were delayed and due to rebooking we reached Santorini a day before our booked accommodation. It was difficult to find last moment accommodation along with small kid but Irini was so helpful and she allotted house a day before to us. I am so grateful of her kind gesture. Overall stay was so comfortable and Akis was so helpful and kind to provide lot of toys to my Daughter, she really liked it "uncle John"😊 The beautiful beach was just in front of house, me and family enjoyed stay at Sunhaus. I would really recommend this place for stay and one of my friend actually planning to stay in July. Thank you Irini and Akis... You are so wonderful host.. cheers

Nothing; everything was amazing.

Akis, the host, was amazing! He was able to accommodate my early check in request, and checked in on me to see how I was doing. He also had recommended me some places for where I should go for breakfast and dinner. When I mentioned to him that I was going back to Fira, he ended up taking me there the next day which was very kind for the host to do! Overall, the apartment itself was very nice; it had all of the necessities you would need to feel like you where at home! Bed & sofa was very comfy, and if you wanted to watch Netflix, you where able to cast using their TV with your phone device.

all was great

We loved everything about our stay. to start with, the hosts (we met Akis in person and Irini throught mails only) are very kind people, comprehensive and easy to communicate with. They gave us all the advice and booked a taxi beforehand and at our arrival Akis was so nice to drive us to the supermarket so that we could do enough shopping for a week. The house itself is well-equipped, stylish and ergonomic. Outside is absolutely beautiful with the sea view that you can enjoy non stop as the house is almost on the beach. Amazing and unique opportunity to go to the sea and come back all the time. The place is super baby-friendly, my 10mo got not only a baby bed and a high chair but also a stroller and plenty of toys! another unexpected but very pleasant bonus is everyday cleaning service, and the cleaning person is also lovely and friendly.

We wanted to experience a more authentic Santorini and this was the place for it. Looking back, it was an ideal place to relax, be very very close to the beach and live in a traditional Cycladic house. Perissa is one of the best beaches on the island (blue flag, fine black sand, mountain view). Ireni and Akis were the most amazing hosts and the whole experience was very close to our hearts. Would love to return soon!
